WRC2 champion E. Lindholm tested with Škoda ahead of Monte Carlo Rallye 2023

in Rally2 months ago

Hi, friends!

Škoda guys already started with testing for the Monte Carlo Rallye which starts in January, in around 90 days. I can see that Toksport, Škoda's satellite team, is behind this test with Škoda engineers.

Their factory squad always send their top engineers on the events because they want the top results and we all know that the top results bring the car sales.

Škoda sold so much of Fabia rally cars, either Super 2000 or R5 and Rally2 cars. Their reliability is the garancy of a good sale but they are also extremly quick as well.

Andreas Mikkelsen won the WRC2 class Championship in 2021 and Emil Lindholm won it this year. This is just a prove that they are super strong on every kind of surface, especially gravel and wet tarmac. On the other hand, it seems that Citroen has the fastest car on the dry tarmac. Yeah, we are talking about the WRC2 category.

So Emil Lindholm started with testing process ahead of Monte and it seems that already had some crash (from the title of the video).

Please enjoy his test drive... :)
