Emotional damage… It got to do with you.

I won't say it has been perfected, but what I do know is that I am doing so well at it. The internet can be crazily buzzing, and if you aren't careful, you'll cry so badly because you were not able to control your emotions to what was said by someone in general.

I have come across posts, tweets, and lots more that merely reading them, the content infuriates me. How people get to think that way is saddening, but on no account have I found myself making a comment on that. I know I can, but I definitely would not because I refuse to put myself in that sort of spotlight by commenting and re-replying to what the person or people like them has to say.

The thing is that some of these people are clout chasers who will just waste your time saying whatever nonsense they can bring from the back of their brain.

Chances are, they will say more things that will make you want to beat the hell out of them and the more you try/argue with them, the more their sense of reasoning keeps on pushing you to the slum they are and you find yourself looking stupid if you aren't careful.

This is why we must learn to control our emotions because the more we give control to our emotions, the more they have full control of us and that... that gives people an edge on us. Once they notice you are the type that vent and want to speak even when you could have easily passed by the discussion, the more they have that sort of discussion making you angry to the extent that it may lead to depression.

Also, with people close to us, they find it easier to hurt us because they know we can't control our emotions, and this causes a series of emotional damages to us mentally, spiritually, and physically.

Therefore, the act of not letting our emotions rule us must be mastered if we ought to live a peaceful life. There are situations where you'll just have to pass by, some you'll have to observe, and others you have to speak without your emotions taking full control. Just as Travis Bradley has said;

Emotional intelligence is your ability to recognize and understand emotions in yourself and others and your ability to use this awareness to manage your behavior and relationships.

The moment you can manage your emotions, you won't get hurt easily because you won't put yourself in situations where you can be hurt. I know it is not easy, but from someone who has seen and learned how to manage her emotions, I can boldly tell you that is possible.

I don't know how emotional you are because I do not really fancy humans that much, and from the beginning, I have learned to mind my business and observe rather than talk. But, regardless of how emotional you are, do not let that stop you from taking charge of your emotions because your emotions speak so much about your health and physical self.

Speaking about our mental health and physical self, here's a tune to go. It is a gem I found while surfing around despite my Internet connection. Yeah, I am struggling to get this post published, and I will in due time. No pain, no gain, eh?
