CHESS BROTHERS LEAGUE - Season 2 "Gens una sumus": Tournament 7 Report and New Announcement 💪♟

We are reaching the final stretch of the season 2 and the top positions seem to be almost materialized by the players who have been leading this season since its beginning.
If you haven't heard about this league yet, check out the following post. The following image shows the podium and final standing of the round 7:
As we can see, @eniolw and @tungphong once again, in their tough rivalry for the championship, were at the top of this round, both with 6 units. On this occasion, @eniolw takes the top honors by tiebreaker, while the player from Vietnam escorts him in second place.
Anthonywashere, meanwhile, with a brilliant tournament reiterates his presence among the best players in the league, with a well-deserved third place totaling 5.5 points. @Samostically and @panboy27 with 5 points each shared 4th and 5th place respectively.
Looking at the general statistics of the event we see that the participation of players dropped, but the performance soared and managed to settle at 2050 rating points. Following the history of the previous rounds, we notice the inversely proportional relationship between the number of players and the performance.
73 games were played and the authority of the white pieces was noted with 55% of wins, while black scored 36%, percentages that indicate the normal dominance of the white side's initiative. There is also a modest percentage of 4% for draws. This league has been characterized by this low rate of draws, meaning that most games conclude with a win. The remainder of the percentage is attributed to games not played.

As expected, @tungphong is in unstoppable command. We commented in the previous round that his consistency and solidity in the development of the whole season has allowed him to stay at the top. Currently, with 86 points, he has a very difficult score to break and he is already on the run with one round left to finish the event.
At some distance, @eniolw with 68 units, who has also had an admirable tournament, but his absence in one of the rounds has cost him a lot and we see that he is separated by 18 points from the first player.
In 3rd position @samostically, who moves up a step in his eternal rivalry with @tony1294 and totals 58 points so far. @Tony1294, on the other hand, moves down a step and is in 4th place with 52 points, just 6 points behind the Nigerian player, but that could be decisive in the final round.
@Vjap55 remains in 5th place despite his absence in the round. Also noteworthy is the entry into the TOP 10 of @pereu4ivatel with 19 points, who has achieved this thanks to his perfect consistency that gives him chances of achieving favorable results. However, he is being stalked by a group of players with very similar scores, such as @Pamboy27 who climbs four positions, AntonyWasHere who meteorically climbs 7 positions and @stayoutoftherz just one point away.

Review of interesting positions
Position 1 (from the game @tony1294 vs @rosmarly)
@Tony1294 and @rosmarly had a frenetic match, with a super complex level of tactics. Finally it has come to this position in which the first player has chosen to take his pawn to the 7th rank, with aspirations to force the game. However, this is a blunder, since Black energetically had the move 33. Rxd7! This way taking advantage of the weakness on the 8th horizontal. However, @rosmarly played 33. Rc7? missing the resource and with this rook ending the game concluded in a draw 33 moves later.
Another endgame of great interest was the one between @tungphong and @eniolw, whose confrontation was quite prolonged, precisely one of the specialties of some strong players, who take their opponents to the maximum wear, looking for the definitive mistake of their opponent. At a certain point they reached the following position:

In this situation, the game is more or less even. A tricky queen endgame in which you have to be cautious. @tungphong made a very intuitive decision, but the calculations show that he unfortunately missed the correct result of the pawn race. He played 66. Qxf4? leading to an irreversible defeat. It was better 66. Qe4, where material equality prevails and it is difficult for both kings to approach the enemy pawns.
After the move, the game continued 66.... gxf4 67. Rf5 and after 67... Re3 there was nothing to do. Black won a trivial queen vs. pawn endgame.

As we said in the league rules, the pairing system and time control of tournaments 5, 6, 7 and 8 will be defined by the community. You must vote for the TC and format you prefer. - The first 10 places of each tournament accumulate 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 and 4 points respectively. The rest of the players get 1 point as long as they have played at least 3 games.

LIGA DE AJEDREZ CHESS BROTHERS - Temporada 2 "Gens una sumus": Reportaje del torneo 6 y nueva convocatoria 💪♟

La 7ma ronda de la 2da temporada de la Liga de Ajedrez Chess Brothers fue jugada este domingo 28 de noviembre con una audiencia de 22 jugadores, quienes disputaron en buena lid una interesante contienda sobre el tablero digital.
Estamos llegando a la recta final de la 2da temporada y los primeros puestos parecen estar casi materializados por parte de los jugadores que han estado comandando esta temporada desde los inicios de la misma.
Si aún no te has enterado de esta liga, echa un vistazo al siguiente post. En la siguiente imagen se muestra el podio y standing final de la 7ma válida:
Como vemos, @eniolw y @tungphong una vez más, en su ardua rivalidad de cara al campeonato, se ubicaron en la cúspide de esta ronda, ambos con 6 unidades. En esta oportunidad @eniolw logra por temas de desempate los máximos honores mientras que el jugador de Vietnam lo escolta en la segunda posición.
Anthonywashere, por su parte, con un torneo brillante reitera su presencia entre los mejores jugadores de la liga, con un tercer lugar bien merecido que totaliza los 5,5 puntos. @samostically y @panboy27 con 5 puntos cada uno se repartieron el 4to y 5to puesto respectivamente.
Revisando un poco las estadísticas generales del evento vemos que la participación de jugadores bajó, pero el performance se dispara y lograr establecerse en los 2050 puntos de rating. Siguiendo el histórico de las anteriores válidas, se hace notar esa relación inversamente proporcional entre número de jugadores y el performance.
73 partidas fueron jugadas y la autoridad de las piezas blancas se hizo notar con un 55% de victorias, mientras que las negras puntuaron un 36%, unos porcentajes que indican el normal dominio de la iniciativa del bando blanco. También hay un porcentaje modesto de 4% para los empates. Esta liga se ha caracterizado por esta baja tasa de tablas, entendiéndose así que la mayoría de partidas concluyen con una victoria. El resto del porcentaje se atribuye a las partidas no jugadas.

Como era de esperar, @tungphong comanda de manera imparable. Comentábamos en la ronda anterior que su constancia y solidez en el desarrollo de toda la temporada le ha permitido mantenerse en la cima. Actualmente, con 86 puntos posee un score muy díficil de romper y ya está escapado a falta de una ronda para finalizar el evento.
A cierta distancia, @eniolw con 68 unidades, quien también ha tenido un torneo admirable, pero su ausencia en una de las válidas le ha costado mucho y vemos que se separa por 18 puntos del primer jugador.
En la 3era posición @samostically, quien asciende un peldaño en su eterna rivalidad con @tony1294 y totaliza hasta los momentos 58 puntos. @tony1294, por parte, baja un escalón y se ubica en la 4ta plaza con 52 puntos, a tan solo 6 unidades del jugador de Nigeria, pero que de cara a la ronda final, pueden ser decisivos.
@vjap55 se mantiene en el 5to lugar a pesar de su ausencia en la ronda. También destaca la entrada al TOP 10 de @pereu4ivatel con 19 puntos, quien lo ha conseguido gracias a su constancia perfecta que le da chances de conseguir resultados favorables. Sin embargo, está siendo acechado por un grupo de jugadores de puntuación muy similar, tales como @Pamboy27 que sube cuatro posiciones, AntonyWasHere quien meteóricamente sube 7 posiciones y @stayoutoftherz a solo un punto de distancia.
Estaremos muy atentos a los posibles cambios que está tabla pueda tener con el desarrollo de las próximas válidas.

También queremos reconocer a los jugadores que han tenido la posibilidad de ser 100% consistentes, a saber: @agreste, @pereu4uwatch, @rodrook, @rosmarly, @samostically, @stayoutoftherz, @tony1294 y @tungphong ¡Sigamos así!
Ahora bien, debemos hacer un ⚠️ llamado de atención ⚠️ que será el último de esta temporada: Si estás participando en la liga y posees cuenta de Hive, pero tu nombre usuario de Hive no aparece en la tabla, significa que no lo conocemos. Recordemos que de acuerdo a las condiciones publicadas en el post de convocatoria, los premios solo aplicarán a aquellos jugadores que posean cuenta de Hive.

Revisión de posiciones interesantes
Posición 1 (de la partida @tony1294 vs @rosmarly)
@Tony1294 y @rosmarly tuvieron un match frenético, con un nivel de táctica súper complejo. Finalmente se ha llegado ha esta posición en la que el primer jugador ha optado por llevar su peón a la 7ma fila, con aspiraciones de forzar la partida. No obstante, esto es un error garrafal, pues las negras enérgicamente tenían la jugada 33... Txd7! De esta manera se aprovecha la debilidad en la 8va horizontal. Sin embargo, @rosmarly jugó 33... Tc7? omitiendo el recurso y con este final de torres la partida concluyó en tablas 33 jugadas más tarde.
Otro final de sumo interés fue el producido en la partida @tungphong y @eniolw, cuyo enfrentamiento fue bastante prolongado, precisamente una de las especialidades de algunos fuertes jugadores, quienes llevan a sus oponentes al desgaste máximo, buscando el error definitivo de sus contrarios. En determinado punto alcanzaron la siguiente posición:
Posición 2 (de la partida @tungphong vs @eniolw)
En esta situación, la partida se encuentra más o menos igualadas. Un final se damas truquero en el que hay que tener precaución. @tungphong tomó una decisión muy intuitiva, pero los cálculos demuestran que por desgracia no dió con el correcto resultado de la carrera de peones. Jugó 66. Dxf4?? que lleva a una derrota irreversible. Era mejor 66. De4, donde prevalece la igualdad material y es difícil que ambos reyes se aproximen a los peones enemigos.
Tras la jugada, la partida continuó 66... gxf4 67. Rf5 y tras 67... Re3 no hay nada que hacer. Las negras ganaron un trivial final de dama contra peón.
Convocatoria y condiciones técnicas del torneo 7
- Se realizará en Lichess.org.
- Unirse al equipo de Chess Brothers.
- Fecha y hora: Domingo 5 de Diciembre a las 19 GMT (3 pm hora de Venezuela).
- Modalidad y ritmo: En esta oportunidad haremos algo más interesante. Como habiamos dicho en las bases de la liga, la modalidad y el ritmo de los torneos 5, 6, 7 y 8 serán definidos por la comunidad. Debes votar por el ritmo y la modalidad que prefieras. La consulta ya está abierta a través de Dpoll. Visita este artículo para que participes en la votación. Los resultados se darán a conocer cuando la publicación de la encuesta caduque.
- Los primeros 10 puestos de cada torneo acumulan 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 y 4 puntos respectivamente. El resto de jugadores obtienen 1 punto siempre y cuando hayan jugado por lo menos 3 partidas.
- El sistema de desempate será el que determine Lichess.
