¿A partir de que momento comenzamos a descubrir nuestras pasiones? O por lo menos ¿en qué momento nos damos cuenta? Realmente para cada persona esto es relativo e inclusive, a lo largo de nuestra vida podemos seguir descubriendo más cosas que continúen apasionándonos.
Cada vez que una persona me dice que realmente no encuentra algo que lo llene, lo observo detenidamente y le respondo: «Algunas veces toma un poco de tiempo, pero siempre lo terminarás descubriendo y lo sentirás parte de ti». Es una forma empática de animarlos y de aclarar que para todo hay tiempo.

At what point do we begin to discover our passions? Or at least at what point do we become aware of them? Actually, for each person this is relative and even throughout our lives we can continue to discover more things that continue to excite us.
Every time a person tells me that he/she doesn't really find something that fulfills him/her, I observe him/her carefully and I answer: "Sometimes it takes a little time, but you will always end up discovering it and you will feel it as part of you". It's an empathetic way of encouraging them and making it clear that there is time for everything.
Desde siempre he amado hablar de las cosas que me apasionan y, creo que ese simple hecho se ha convertido también en una. También siento mucha felicidad y entusiasmo cuando escucho a las demás personas comentar las suyas.
Realmente hay muchas cosas que me llenan como persona, pero si se trata de ser especifico, existen tres cosas en concreto que me desconectan del ruido exterior que produce algunas veces el mundo y me pierdo en un hilo de tiempo abarrotado de mi propia felicidad y comodidad.
Desde muy pequeña he tenido una curiosidad insaciable por todo lo que se me presente, por tanto, aprender se volvió una pasión imborrable. No me bastaba con ir a clases o leer unas cuantas definiciones para tener un atisbo de conocimiento.
Me encargaba de obtener toda la información posible sobre un tema en específico para poder pasar a otro y, si me tenía que inscribir en algún curso para poder lograr mi objetivo, lo hacía.
Los amigos de mi papá suelen llamarme «la biblioteca andante» porque siempre les saco un tema cualquiera a colación y les describo a detalle todo lo que he aprendido.
Lo positivo de esto es que suelo ser una persona muy neutral al momento de entrar en debates, ya que siempre investigo todas las partes y, todos los puntos de vista que han sido expuestos sobre cualquier tema a lo largo de los años.
Además creo que en éste espacio también entra el hecho de que me apasiona leer y, siempre que pueda invertir mi tiempo en una buena lectura lo haré.

The positive thing about this is that I tend to be a very neutral person when entering into debates, as I always research all sides and, all points of view that have been brought up on any given topic over the years.
I also believe that this space also includes the fact that I am passionate about reading and, whenever I can invest my time in a good read, I will do it.
Para algunas personas esto resulta muy extraño, especialmente porque en la gran mayoría de casos, los debates traen discusiones consigo. Aunque yo siempre intento que el intercambio de ideas sea de forma pacífica.
Soy de las personas que te invitaría a tomar un café para debatir sobre cualquier tema. Esto me permite percibir nuevos puntos de vista, conocer sesgos y también, estudiar nuevamente mis propios argumentos.
Es una forma muy efectiva de aprender y conocer la posición de las personas ante ciertos temas, además de que siempre invito a la persona a emplear la neutralidad.
Por lo mismo, paso gran parte del día viendo videos de debates en internet, la gran mayoría en idioma anglosaparlante.

Esto es algo que siempre digo y, de hecho lo he mencionado muchas veces en el blog.
Escribir es de las cosas que más amo, más me llenan y más me hace feliz. Para mí es un trabajo de terapia muy especial, a través de la escritura he logrado sanar muchas cosas en mi interior y, es lo que me permite regresar al presente de forma más segura.
No sólo escribo en mi blog. Desde que tengo 11 años he escrito libros, cuentos y, siempre llevo conmigo un diario.
En Venezuela dejé una colección de diarios que tienen dentro de sí toda mi adolescencia y, aquí en Perú ya llevo unos 4 diarios completos, de hecho, hace menos de una semana me compré una nuevo.
Uno de mis sueños más grande es publicar algún libro, aunque el síndrome el impostor es una de las cosas que más me lo impide. Pero como siempre digo, todo lleva su tiempo.
