Greetings to all the members of the Aliento community and to all the hivers of this fabulous Hive platform!
Nací en Caracas a finales de la década de los 60, se podrán imaginar el porqué de mi nombre,Katiuska Gómez Torres. Desde muy niña me gustaban los paseos, ir a la hacienda de mis abuelos y montar a caballo, viajar en carro, ver pasar el paisaje, de día o de noche, siempre despierta. Luego, viajes más largos en avión y donde me quedé un tiempo, París, Francia, Toronto, Canadá y Rochester, Estados Unidos. Estuve en este gran movimiento hasta casi los 18años, de adulta he viajado nuevamente a Bath, Inglaterra y a Quito, Ecuador, por estudios y por recreación. De todo ese recorrido me quedaron dos idiomas inglés y francés, una gran capacidad de adaptación, cultura y una noción de la vida en otros países.

Life is an adventure.
I was born in Caracas in the late 60's, you can imagine the reason for my name, Katiuska Gómez Torres. Since I was a child I liked to go for walks, go to my grandparents' hacienda and ride horses, travel by car, watch the scenery go by, day or night, always awake. Then, longer trips by plane and where I stayed for a while, Paris, France, Toronto, Canada and Rochester, USA. I was in this great movement until I was almost 18 years old, as an adult I have traveled again to Bath, England and Quito, Ecuador, for studies and recreation. From all this travel I have two languages, English and French, a great capacity for adaptation, culture and a notion of life in other countries.
¿Quién soy hoy?
Soy una mujer alegre, dinámica, me gusta estar aprendiendo constantemente, me gusta escribir,mini relatos, escritura creativa, poesías y haikus. La música, mi pasión, toco piano y flauta dulce.La pintura, me lleva a profundidades de introspección. Soy profesora de inglés y francés, hablo y escribo italiano, nivel intermedio, también leo hebreo y portugués. En los próximos días
obtendré el título de facilitadora de Biodanza, un sistema que me apasiona y que es ya uno de los pilares de mi vida. En mundo holístico también me he desarrollado en artes de la sanación. El reiki y la biodanza me han permitido conectar con el ser humano y con la alegría de vivir desde
un contexto afectivo. No todo es la academia, soy un ser humano sintiente.

Who am I today?
I am a cheerful, dynamic woman, I like to be constantly learning, I like to write, mini stories, creative writing, poetry and haikus. Music, my passion, I play piano and recorder. Painting, it takes me to depths of introspection. I am an English and French teacher, I speak and write Italian, intermediate level, I also read Hebrew and Portuguese. In the next few days I will obtain the title of Biodanza facilitator, a system that I am passionate about and that is already one of the pillars of my life. In the holistic world I have also developed in the healing arts. Reiki and Biodanza have allowed me to connect with the human being and with the joy of living from an affective context. Not everything is academia, I am a sentient human being.
Otra de mis pasiones son los deportes, he practicado natación, piragüismo, aerobics, kung-fu, parapente, y últimamente rapel, me cuesta mucho estar tranquila. El deporte me proporciona calma y concentración.
Another of my passions are sports, I have practiced swimming, canoeing, aerobics,kung-fu, paragliding, and lately rappelling, it is very hard for me to be calm. Sport gives me calm and concentration.

Ahora bien, mis dos grandes amores y tesoros, mis hijos. Estívaliz y Luis Alejandro, ambos llenan mi alma de alegría y de compañía. Desde muy niños viajábamos mucho, nos divertíamos, acampábamos en las playas, en el
Roraima, subimos al Pico Bolívar, nos llenamos de arena en los Médanos de Coro y muchas más aventuras. Hoy en día son independientes y hacen su vida con inteligencia, sabiduría y amor.
Hoy, luego de todas esas aventuras y las que faltan, siento que lo más importante es compartir, crear vínculos, disfrutar de la vida, de las cosas sencillas y cotidianas, vivir el aquí y el ahora,conectar con el otro desde el corazón, ser genuinos y leales a nosotros mismos y a los demás.
Cada mañana me despierto con el cantar alegre de las guacamayas y de los pájaros, abro mis ojos y veo mi Ávila, verde, majestuoso y lleno de vida, que me recuerda que amaneció perfecto y que bien vale cada minuto que respiro.

Now, my two great loves and treasures, my
children. Estívaliz and Luis Alejandro, both fill my soul with joy and
companionship. Since we were kids we traveled a lot, we had fun, we camped on the beaches, on the Roraima, we climbed the Pico Bolivar, we filled ourselves with sand in the Medanos de Coro and many more adventures. Today they are independent and make their lives with intelligence, wisdom and love.
Today, after all those adventures and those that are still to come, I feel that the most important thing is to share, to create bonds, to enjoy life, the simple and everyday things, to live the here and now, to connect with others from the heart, to be genuine and loyal to ourselves and to others. Every morning I wake up to the joyful singing of the macaws and birds, I open my eyes and I see my Avila, green, majestic and full of life, reminding me that it dawned perfect and that it is worth every minute I breathe.
¿Cómo llego a Hive?
Definitivamente todo sucede en el tiempo perfecto, como comenté anteriormente, me gusta escribir, incluso de niña escribí un cuento basado en la mitología griega. Gracias a mi carrera universitaria volví a conectar con
la escritura. Siempre tengo cerca de mí papel y lápiz o en mi morral, porque las frases e ideas saltan en mi cabeza. En abril del 2021, @miriannalis me habló de Hive, ingresé por Telegram a Hive.blogMasterclass UBK , con @soy-laloreto , me perdí la masterclass , bajé la aplicación PeakD, y exploré un poco, pero no logré abrir la cuenta, no era el momento. Entonces hace unas dos semanas fui a un evento de la comunidad Holos, y volví a pensar en la idea de ingresar a Hive, me gusta por la diversidad de comunidades y de oportunidades. Volví a conectar con @soy-laloreto,y esta vez por Hive desde cero, ha sido espectacular la inducción realizada por ella, por el equipo que la acompaña y la comunidad Aliento. Agradezco la entrega y la pedagogía de esta formación de nueve (9) días, hasta el momento vamos por el quinto día y realmente han sido muy buenas las clases. Pronto tendré mi cuenta y siento que se abre una inmensa puerta de oportunidades y también para dar de mi lo mejor que pueda, en ese hermoso acto de dar y recibir.

How do I get to Hive?
Definitely everything happens in the perfect time, as I mentioned before, I like to write, even as a child I wrote a story based on Greek mythology.
Thanks to my college career I reconnected with writing. I always have paper and pencil near me or in my backpack, because sentences and ideas jump in my head.In April 2021, @miriannalis told me about Hive, I entered via Telegram to Hive.blogMasterclass UBK , with @soy-laloreto , I missed the masterclass , I downloaded the PeakD app, and explored a little, but I did not manage to open the account, it was not the time. Then about two weeks ago I went to a Holos community event, and I thought again about the idea of joining Hive, I like it because of the diversity of communities and opportunities. I reconnected with @soy-laloreto, and this time for Hive from scratch, it has been spectacular the induction made by her, by the team that accompanies her
and the Aliento community. I appreciate the delivery and pedagogy of this nine (9) day training, so far we are on the fifth day and the classes
have been really good. Soon I will have my account and I feel that it opens a huge door of opportunities and also to give the best I can, in this beautiful act of giving and receiving.

Pareces ser Todo Terreno así que con tantas experiencias y aprendizajes seguramente nos trasmitirás mucho de eso por aquí, esperemos que encuentres aquí un espacio para expresar esa pasión por las artes que traes y a mí me encantaría escuchar algo en piano, ¿tienes el instrumento en casa?.
Si Hive va a ti, hay que venir a Hive jajaja ahora es cuando hay que motivarse, te deseo que vaya muy bien, usa este medio como un nuevo "papel y lápiz" a mano para plasmar esas ideas inspiradas en los momentos que vas viviendo.
Los viajeros siempre tienen una perspectiva muy amplia de la vida, las culturas que conociste estando en constante movimiento de joven te habrán permitido disfrutar de manera diferente situaciones corrientes.
