Saludos querida comunidad, en esta época se está viendo muy vulnerada la salud de todos los seres humanos no solo por las enfermedades que se han desarrollado últimamente, o las patologías que cada ser trae consigo, sino también por la falta de vocación en los médicos, y del amor al prójimo.
Cada ser humano tiene la capacidad de desarrollar amor hacia sus semejantes y sentir empatía hacia ellos, pero ¿Qué pasa cuando se coloca el amor propio y el ego primero que cualquier cosa?, lamentablemente hoy en día estamos expuestos a malos tratos y vejaciones por parte de nuestros semejantes, pero más aún por aquellos a quienes recurrimos en caso de enfermedad.
Ser médico es un honor, no solo por la dedicación y el tiempo que han colocado en su preparación, sino también por el amor y la humildad que deben desarrollar en el transcurso de ese tiempo, últimamente he visto como personas se han visto afectada por el maltrato de los médicos que los atienden en los centros asistenciales.
Personas sin ética, sin valores que han visto la oportunidad de estudios en esta época sin tantos esfuerzos como en tiempos pasados, sin embargo no hay que meterlos a todos en un mismo saco hay quienes si tienen el deseo de ser médicos verdaderos, médicos de vocación
Entre ellos quisiera hablarles de mi hermano, Dr. Víctor Carrasquel, quien desde niño tenía el deseo de saber más sobre la anatomía humana y el porqué de las enfermedades, recuerdo que sus primeros pacientes eran nuestras mascotas cada vez que se enfermaban, no recuerdo si se curaban o terminaban de enfermarse jajaja.
Imagino que eso despertó su deseo de curar a la gente, pero no fue sino después que trabajo como asistente de farmacia que decidió dedicarse a estudiar medicina.
Quizás el hecho de que no fuera tan fácil entrar en la universidad en años anteriores no le había permitido enfocarse en estudiar una carrera, fue cuando comenzó el bum de la nueva educación impartida por el gobierno nacional actual que decidió intentarlo a tal grado que lo logro.
Hoy es médico internista, han sido muchos años de preparación y sacrificios, para él no ha sido fácil llegar allí, pero con mucho esfuerzo y apoyo de su pareja y de sus familiares lo pudo lograr.
Él es un médico de vocación, de esos que no se quedan tranquilos hasta no ver que su paciente salió de la enfermedad, de esos que primero son los más vulnerables y desvalidos, aquellos desprotegidos por la vida.
Para mí es un orgullo decir que el Dr. Víctor Carrasquel es mi hermano, es mi médico de cabecera aquel que, recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, porque se el nivel de compromiso que tiene con su carrera y con la salud de los demás, porque sabe que significa la ética y la moral, y defiende la Dignidad Humana a capa y espada.
Amo a mi hermano, me encanta su dedicación a su carrera, y deseo que el padre celestial le bendiga con más sabiduría, para que siga avanzando en ese camino que ha escogido, es un gran ejemplo, y no es porque sea mi hermano, pero deberían existir muchos como el, para que este país tenga mejores beneficios a nivel de salud y humanidad.

For me I am proud to say that Dr. Victor Carrasquel is my brother, he is my family doctor, the one I recommend with my eyes closed, because I know the level of commitment he has with his career and with the health of others, because he knows what ethics and morality mean, and he defends Human Dignity to the hilt.
I love my brother, I love his dedication to his career, and I wish that the heavenly father blesses him with more wisdom, so that he continues to advance in this path he has chosen, he is a great example, and it is not because he is my brother, but there should be many like him, so that this country has better benefits at the level of health and humanity.
