Greetings people of Hive!
Espero estén muy bien comenzando estas temporadas navideñas con sus seres queridos, por mi parte esperare que me depara en mi hogar esta navidad y los mantendré informados jajaja. Como sabrán y he dicho en otras ocasiones, soy un estudiante universitario, anteriormente les comente que estaba finalizando evaluaciones peroooo…. Por fin acabo de terminar académicamente el semestre y ahora soy un ser libre de levantarme temprano para solo ver una materia en el día jajaja.
I hope you are very well starting this Christmas season with your loved ones, for my part I will wait for what I have in store for my home this Christmas and I will keep you informed hahaha. As you may know and I have said in other occasions, I am a university student, previously I told you that I was finishing my evaluations butooo.... I finally just finished the semester academically and now I am a free being to wake up early to only see one subject in the day hahaha.
Casi siempre en el último día de clases decido hacer algo, lo que sea que me haga sentirme que estoy celebrando haber pasado por un semestre más, ya sea solo o acompañado yendo a tomar un café, ir al cine, ir a comer o sencillamente comprarme algo ese día. Esta vez toco salir a comer pizza, anteriormente la idea era salir todo mi grupo de amigas a eso, pero por circunstancias no se pudo (le tenían miedo al éxito jajaja) así al final terminamos yendo mi pareja y yo a comer el mismo día de nuestra última clase del semestre, no sin antes hacer una “pequeña” diligencia que se convirtieron en 3h o quizás un poco más, de caminata por el centro de la ciudad jajaja.
Almost always on the last day of classes I decide to do something, whatever it is that makes me feel like I'm celebrating having gone through another semester, either alone or with company going for a coffee, going to the movies, going out to eat or simply buying something that day. This time I had to go out to eat pizza, previously the idea was to go out with my whole group of friends, but due to circumstances it was not possible (they were afraid of success hahaha) so in the end my partner and I ended up going out to eat the same day of our last class of the semester, but not before doing a "small" errand that turned into 3 hours or maybe a little more, walking through the center of the city hahaha.
El día comenzó como cualquier otro, donde tocaba ir al hospital para ver la clase, pero con la diferencia que deje mi teléfono ya que estaba descargado y pues pensé que no lo necesitaría (grave error jajaj). Al llegar al hospital y tener 2h esperando a la profesora, resulto que ella estaba ya en el servicio de psiquiatría y psicología y nosotros ni pendiente dando el día por perdido. La clase era de Psicopatología, y puedo catalogar mi experiencia sobre esta materia como interesante y muy significativa en conocimiento ya que despejo dudas y a la vez genero nuevas dudas sobre la clínica comportamental del ser humano, tomando también en cuenta los esfuerzos de la profesora de hacer la materia entendible y digerible para nosotros, y a la vez haciéndonos saber sus esperanzas en nosotros para mejorar la calidad de los profesionales de salud mental.
The day began like any other, where it was time to go to the hospital to see the class, but with the difference that I left my phone because it was unloaded and I thought I would not need it (big mistake hahaha). Arriving at the hospital and having 2 hours waiting for the teacher, it turned out that she was already in the psychiatry and psychology service and we were not even pending giving the day for lost. The class was on Psychopathology, and I can catalog my experience on this subject as interesting and very significant in knowledge since it cleared doubts and at the same time generated new doubts about the clinical behavior of the human being, also taking into account the efforts of the teacher to make the subject understandable and digestible for us, and at the same time letting us know their hopes for us to improve the quality of mental health professionals.
Terminando la clase y después de haber tomado la respectiva foto grupal, nos dirigimos a la salida para consecutivamente tomar la foto para presumir que ya salimos del hospital, a la cual me opuse al inicio pero es que llega un punto que las fotos me dan pereza jajaja. Luego de eso, caímos en cuenta de que no podríamos salir en grupo para celebrar, así que solo quedamos mi pareja y yo que decidimos salir ese mismo día después hacer sus diligencias, que en mi cabeza eran como una hora u hora y media, después de eso iríamos a comer, pero todo fue una vil mentira que me pinte en mi cabeza jajaja.
Finishing the class and after taking the respective group photo, we headed to the exit to consecutively take the photo to show that we left the hospital, which I opposed at the beginning but there comes a point that the photos make me lazy hahaha. After that, we realized that we could not go out as a group to celebrate, so only my partner and I decided to go out that same day after doing their errands, which in my head were about an hour or an hour and a half, after that we would go to eat, but it was all a vile lie that I painted in my head hahaha.
Defectivamente a nosotros y al pato lucas le pasan lo que sucedió ese día, comenzando que primero ella no tenía saldo como cosa rara justo el día que ella necesita saldo pero estaba confiada en que yo llevaría el teléfono, el teléfono que casualidad deje en mi casa ese mismo día. Pero bueno, por suerte mi otro teléfono que no uso mucho y tiene mi otro número tenía algo de saldo y con eso se pudo solventar, pero evidentemente la vida no nos lo dejaría fácil porque la señal de mi teléfono tardaba en llegar.
Defectively to us and duck lucas happens what happened that day, starting that first she had no balance as a rare thing just the day she needs balance but she was confident that I would take the phone, the phone that coincidentally I left at my house that same day. But well, luckily my other phone that I don't use much and has my other number had some credit and that was enough to pay for it, but obviously life would not make it easy for us because the signal from my phone was slow to arrive.
Al pasar por los locales conseguimos uno que tenía lo que ella andaba buscando, mientras ella consultaba con su hermana si comprarlo o no, ya que los datos no nos colaboraban, decidimos ir a la tienda de Mango Bajito si de casualidad también había lo mismo. Para sorpresa mía, debería decir más bien QUE NO había, verán mi pareja es la loca de la navidad jaja y en estas temporadas las tiendas están llenas de adornos y cosas de temática navideña, y al entrar ella suelta un grito de emoción al ver la decoración que de verdad… no voy a olvidar y lamento no poder grabarlo.
As we went through the stores we got one that had what she was looking for, while she consulted with her sister whether to buy it or not, since the data did not collaborate us, we decided to go to the Mango Bajito store if by any chance there was also the same thing. To my surprise, I should say there was NOT, you see my partner is crazy about Christmas haha and in these seasons the stores are full of ornaments and Christmas themed things, and when we entered she let out a scream of excitement when she saw the decorations that really... I will not forget and I regret not being able to record it.
Después de comprar su gorrito de navidad, nos dirigimos al local anterior, solo para darnos cuenta que la vida no nos quería ese día y el local estaba cerrado porque se habían ido almorzar y abrían a las 3. Aunque dijimos que igual no había problemas porque quedamos en ir a comer y luego regresábamos, además la pizzería estaba a solo una cuadra. Pedimos el combo familiar y todo bien hasta que viene el otro detalle, no había punto de venta, pero yo tenía $ en efectivo pero para poder darme vuelto teníamos que transferirle en Bolívares 2$ (Cosas que solo pasan en Venezuela), aquí en adelante nuestra odisea comienza.
After buying his Christmas hat, we went to the previous store, only to realize that life did not want us that day and the store was closed because they had gone to lunch and opened at 3. Although we said that there were no problems anyway because we agreed to go to eat and then return, plus the pizzeria was only a block away. We ordered the family combo and everything was fine until the other detail, there was no point of sale, but I had $ in cash but in order to give me change we had to transfer $2 in Bolivars (Things that only happen in Venezuela), here onwards our odyssey begins.
Digo Odisea porque fue 1h tratando de que mis datos conectaran ya que no había buena señal, luego la pelea titánica de mi pareja vs el Banco Mercantil que no quería funcionar, pero de una les digo que ella logro vencer y pudimos pagar, irónicamente la pizza tardo menos en estar lista que nosotros tratando de resolver y ya yo estaba que decidía comprarme un tostón de los que venden en 5bs jajajaj. Pero valió la pena la espera porque la verdad estaban muy buenas, luego regresamos al local más tranquilos por haber comido y de allí fuimos a la parada a esperar el bus.
I say Odyssey because it was 1h trying to get my data connected since there was no good signal, then the titanic fight of my partner vs the Banco Mercantil that did not want to work, but I tell you that she managed to win and we could pay, ironically the pizza took less time to be ready than us trying to solve and I was already deciding to buy a tostón of those that sell in 5bs jajajajaj. But it was worth the wait because they were really good, then we went back to the place calmer for having eaten and from there we went to the bus stop to wait for the bus.
Realmente fue una culminación de semestre muy movida y divertida, me la pase muy bien en compañía de pareja y ambos aprendimos de dos moralejas, no salir sin saldo y no salir sin el teléfono. It was really a very moving and fun culmination of the semester, I had a great time in the company of my partner and we both learned two morals do not leave without credit and do not leave without the phone.
