Amigos, la gaita es un ícono de mi querida Maracaibo, la ciudad que me recibió hace más de 7 años y que me abrió las puertas en la carrera que más amo.
He pasado por distintos medios de comunicación y he tenido trabajo en áreas que me han gustado mucho en el deporte, pero siempre salen nuevas oportunidades para aprender y seguir creciendo profesionalmente.
Este sábado se dió inicio al gran Campeonato de Softbol Intergaitero 2022, cada año es celebrado como una tradición, pero primera vez que me hacen parte de este evento y me siento privilegiada al compartir con los mejores gaiteros del estado y ser parte del comité organizador es una gran bendición.
Puedo decirles que trabajé casi 16 horas de manera continua y a pesar del cansancio físico y mental por la jornada que tuve, quedé satisfecha por lo alcanzado.
Soy la encargada de manejar las redes sociales del Intergaitero y soy la que toma las fotos y videos. Además, ayudo a organizar el protocolo de las jornadas y eso me mantiene en constante movimiento.
Es bastante estrés, la noche de este sábado me tocó hacer la transmisión en vivo de una de las agrupaciones más reconocidas de la ciudad como lo es Gaiteros de Pillopo y al finalizar el espectáculo, al bajar de la tarima, había gente abajo esperándome para pedirme fotos, vídeos o cómo podían ver todo el material que había grabado.
La emoción se hizo presente desde temprano cuando abrieron con la inauguración. Tuvimos la visita del Alcalde de Maracaibo, Rafael Ramírez y parte del equipo de la Gobernación del estado Zulia. Pero el punto central de la actividad es el softbol y la gaita.
Ocho equipos desfilaron junto a sus madrinas, Garra Gaitera, Eclipse 88.3 FM, Cardenales del éxito, Magazine Zuliano, Dos pa' tres, Gran Chiquinquirá, Gaiteros de Ziruma y La Gaita de Otrora, los cuales son protagonistas en este evento.
Además, luego de haberse jugado los cuatro partidos pautados, llegó el momento del disfrute y la gran celebración para la familia zuliana-maracaibera.
Con mucho amor, aún sin fuerzas, seguí la jornada laboral, para hacer la transmisión en vivo a través de Instagram Live. Un público maravilloso que se portó a la altura, todo estuvo espectacular.
Llevar un torneo así, no es nada fácil. Afortunadamente, los compañeros que están trabajando conmigo son bastante responsables y van con todo sin importar nada, se esfuerzan con muchas ganas y pasión.
Queremos que la gaita siga creciendo en nuestro estado y motivamos a las personas para que asistan a estos eventos que traen una alegría tremenda a la ciudad.
¿Qué quiero expresar? Que realmente vale la pena insistir por lo que uno quiere. Debido a la voluntad que tengo siempre de mantenerme en las cosas que me gustan, me salen este tipo de oportunidades que sencillamente alimentan mi alma de cosas positivas como estas.

Friends, the gaita is an icon of my beloved Maracaibo, the city that welcomed me more than 7 years ago and that opened the doors for me in the career I love the most.
I have worked for different media and I have had work in areas that I have liked very much in the sport, but there are always new opportunities to learn and continue growing professionally.
Every year it is celebrated as a tradition, but this is the first time that I am part of this event and I feel privileged to share with the best pipers in the state and to be part of the organizing committee is a great blessing.
I can tell you that I worked almost 16 hours continuously and despite the physical and mental fatigue of the day I had, I was satisfied with what I achieved.
I am in charge of managing the Intergaitero's social networks and I am the one who takes the photos and videos. In addition, I help organize the protocol of the conference and that keeps me in constant movement.
It is quite stressful, this Saturday night I had to do the live broadcast of one of the most recognized groups of the city as is the Gaiteros de Pillopo and at the end of the show, when I got off the stage, there were people downstairs waiting for me to ask me for photos, videos or how they could see all the material I had recorded.
The excitement was present from early in the morning when they opened with the inauguration. We had the visit of the Mayor of Maracaibo, Rafael Ramirez and part of the team from the Governor's Office of the state of Zulia. But the focal point of the activity is softball and bagpipes.
Eight teams paraded with their godmothers, Garra Gaitera, Eclipse 88.3 FM, Cardenales del éxito, Magazine Zuliano, Dos pa' tres, Gran Chiquinquirá, Gaiteros de Ziruma and La Gaita de Otrora, which are protagonists in this event.
In addition, after the four scheduled games were played, it was time for enjoyment and a great celebration for the Zuliana-Maracaibera family.
With much love, even without strength, I followed the workday, to do the live broadcast via Instagram Live. A wonderful audience that behaved at the height, everything was spectacular.
Running a tournament like this is not easy. Fortunately, the colleagues who are working with me are very responsible and go all out no matter what, they work hard with a lot of enthusiasm and passion.
We want the gaita to continue growing in our state and we motivate people to attend these events that bring tremendous joy to the city.
What do I want to express? That it is really worth insisting for what you want. Because of the will I always have to stick to the things I like, I get these kinds of opportunities that simply feed my soul with positive things like these.
