Well, it has been several weeks (almost a month) since the announcement that Palnet would change "the way of doing things" for the community.
For me, the primary change of note was the announcement that "the importance of posting and curation would be reduced."
This mattered to me as this small account primarily exists for the purpose of curating and engaging within the Palnet community. It seemed like the "highest and best use" of my staked PAL Tokens.
Indeed, my curation awards have dwindled to a "wee dribble."
Not planning to *stop," though... because engagement matters, regardless of the rewards — or lack thereof.
An inadvertent discovery as part of keeping an eye on this is that evidently the people who run the INDEX fund hold a good number of PAL miners and distribute PAL tokens as dividends.
I may start channeling any liquid rewards towards buying INDEX tokens on Hive-Engine, as a way to boost my trickle of PAL tokens, all of which will be powered up, still.
As always, this is just a small "journal" of thoughts, benchmarks and progress.
