The price of certain Christmas season snacks is expected to spike from around less than 50 cents to the USD up to around 80 cents to the USD per package. It is the break of dawn but some business stalls are now ready to accept early patrons as the early Christmas celebration is suppose to bring more customers in the brick and mortar business sector at Marikina City. Christian Paul a vendor is raring to accept and accommodate customers and journalists alike as early as 3 in the morning and as late as 9 in the evening to recoup their loses for the past 3 years. He revealed to the reporter that he readjusted his computed markup cost for almost all ground rice powder products based on the rising cost of sugar as it is a very popular alibi nowadays. Putong Pulo on the other hand still remains at the same price level which is less than 1 USD (50 PHP) but the rest is subjected to markup readjustment spree. A box full of Sapin-Sapin is worth less than 6 USD (320 PHP) now it is less than 7 USD (350 PHP). Duration of Reportage: 178 seconds.

Subject of Reportage: Live situation reporting at Gatpuno Andres Bonifacio Monument. Voluntary wearing of mask. A survey.

Did she fumble: True.

Content of Reportage: IATF (Inter Agency Task Force) first brought the phantom idea to the table. Now it can be disclosed to the public that the recommendation for voluntary wearing of mask is now a reality. They also hinted that there is a possibility that it will not be implemented immediately. In conjunction with the recommendation this is the right time to again ask if the general population will be biased in favor of the policy of ending the Medical Cosplay with mask on. It has been almost three years since we were forced to participate in a Medical Cosplay with the wearing of surgical mask and clone of the same. The medical cosplay is the measure that some experts have suggested to protect people from perfectly smart and unseen (microcosmic) enemy. Certain segments of society are still coherent to the policy while others are adamant. The IATF stepped in to resurrect the lifeless daily routine which was perpetuated by the Medical Cosplay and they have decided to put a stop to the cognitive dissonance in the Philippine biosphere by finally putting this policy which will be applicable for outdoor spaces. The President has already consented (social contract) to the recommendation of the IATF provided that the regular figures for vaccination (another social contract) rate is not totally ignored. Recording of clearnet interviews were presented and documented as well. The Presidential spokesperson reiterated (through clearnet interview) that the pilot run of ending the Medical Cosplay with masked on will start in the last quarter of the year 2022. The DOH (Health Department) through its OIC is floating an idea that they will conduct a study to see if we can put the masking behind us even on indoor spaces. Vaccination (social contract) routine as the condition of this policy is still present on their table. Randy Salas a TNVS (Transport Network Vehicle Service) rider is still sticking to the cosplay masking as his work is about fraternizing with people. He added that if all of us are vaccinated then he might change his mind although the quadruple jabbing per year requirement is a very steep requirement indeed. Erik Tabo (taxi driver) is also sticking to the cosplay masking as he cites that the perfectly smart and unseen whatever is still lurking somewhere. One anonymous respondent is still sticking to cosplay masking as he is somewhat suffering from allergic response to dust and smog. The last of the anonymous respondent is used to the cosplay masking which is why he is sticking to the old policy. Dante Verallo on the other hand is in favor of the bold policy change. All of the respondents which were presented by the reporter were unanimous in resisting the end of the Medical Cosplay. Before the end of the reportage she made a running description about what is cooking on the "courtesy queue" of the EDSA Bus Carousel.

Content of Reportage: The first featured news is from state owned media of Vietnam. A total of 23 people was officially confirmed to have died from the fire which hit a Karaoke bar somewhere in Binh Duong Vietnam. Nine of the burnt remains was found in a public wash room/comfort room of the establishment. A total of 11 were injured while the rest of those are still unaccounted for are still a subject of search operations as sixty people were thought to have been trapped in the severely burnt building. The fire broke Tuesday night from the second floor and it spread up to the third floor of the said building. The employees and patrons were both trapped as thick smoke blocked the visible areas going to the stairs and emergency exits. Most of those who survived jumped on the available balconies and other tight openings. Initial findings reveal that it is caused by an electrical short circuit. The Prime Minister of Vietnam ordered a closer inspection of the incident as an area somewhere in Hanoi coincidentally experienced the same tragic scenario which resulted in the death of three firefighters. A rescue operation in Pohang City, South Korea save the lives of two people who where trapped for 12 hours in a flooded underground parking lot. The onlookers who witnessed the event expressed their jubilation by shouting and clapping at the top of their lungs as the rescue operations is obviously a successful one. The first who was rescued from breast leveled flood is a male. A female resident of the apartment complex was also rescued. Eight people are still missing as of the time of broadcast as the residents are very much focused when it comes to rescuing their non-living automobiles. Conclusion

In conclusion, the media entity whom is responsible for harnessing the abilities, capacities and talents of Corrine Catibayan has a very elaborate training program for newbie and senior reporters. For the the past couple of months this year she was confined to areas inside the Metropolitan Manila Area. Although there were assignments were she excelled even though she was assigned beyond that area. The future is really bright for this young lady. I am afraid that item number 58 is her last assignment. I deeply regret that I did not try to monitor her career early in the game. I was not bright enough back then although I never thought that I was really that bright from the very beginning. I am sorry that this is not a complete COMPENDIUM of her past and present accomplishments. It seems as if I madly am obsessed when it comes to perfecting this exposition but let's face it. Let us face reality head on. There is an obvious limit to my power as a human being. I really want to impress the readers of this creative yet non-fictional piece of sub par work but I failed all of you. Hope you don't like it. Let us see if you can make a better version of this after monitoring your favorite field reporter. I can tell you personally that this writing piece is not a walk in the news park.

Postscript/Afterthought

Let us combine reverse engineering and the actual approach of Corrine Catibayan as an added guide to future Journalism students. I am doing this as some sort of MASTERCLASS guide to those people whom are still unsure if Corrine is really a Latin Honors type of person and it is also directed to those graduating students in related field whom are still jittery when facing the camera. The crafting and structuring of real narrative is even challenging when there is just a few minutes of deadline to finish your high quality reportage in a remote location based scenario three times a week. I am not saying that their job is hard. Well I am very sure that it is not but it is not easy either. I cannot explain why she fumbles a lot but after a year of working for an entity it is not exactly acceptable but we are Filipinos so we always forgive.Maybe item number 58 is her last but it was one of the best. The scenario below is an assignment which I label as item number 38.

(Reporter on Camera) (Live)

(footage recorded earlier) (showing the gate and facade of the church)

(footage recorded earlier) (showing the caught unaware Narciso and then the Reporter Corrine Catibayan conversing with him) (Narciso's documented statement on camera)
Corrine Catibayan: Si Narciso mahalaga raw sa kanya ang magsimba tuwing Baclaran day upang makarecharge at bilang paghahanda sa kanyang trabaho.

Possible spiel when approaching respondents.

(Pause for respondent's sentiments)

(footage recorded earlier) (showing vendors outside the church )

(footage recorded earlier) (showing caught unaware Joselyn) (her sentiments were documented on camera but it was cut prematurely for the purpose of the almighty "brevity")

(footage recorded earlier) (sentiments of Yoli is documented on camera)

(footage recorded earlier) (Two different respondents were documented on camera)

(Back to Reporter on Camera) (Live)
