Did you know that..Bananas are berries but strawberries are not.

How pls

You want make we start biology class for here?😂 Biology class wey mother nature fail?

Lol 😂😂😂

Yes na 😂 you want make we enter biology class. Well I'm up for it.

Okay unlike the way regular people define berries, in plant science, berries are not just “small fruit”.
A true berry must come from one flower with one ovary and have a soft fleshy inside with seeds embedded in it.
Bananas tick all the boxes. But strawberries don't because its seeds are outside and its development stems from multiple ovaries of a flower.

So lemme put it in a term you might likely understand better:
“Bananas are like rich men that hide themselves, while strawberries are living fake lives, proving what they don't have”

Got it? If you don't get it, ...you know the rest 😂😂

Lolz

I got it😂

Thanks for the explanation ♥️

Oh wow 😯 it's my first time knowing this but I will make more research on it for more knowledge

Who be this one where you hear that one from

That's why its called a fun fact

To say something we are yet to known

You are right. Given the fact that a banana is formed from a single ovary, with a single fruit located inside. Hence, banana is better suited to be called a BERRY.

On the other hand a strawberry ls formed from multiple ovaries, with multiple fruits located outside. More or less like an AGGREGATE fruit.

However, this particular FACT is related to a particular niche of study(botany). Not every reader will appreciate it.

I prefer general FACTS. God bless.

Are you studying a science course @daeze-winnie ?????

Well I'm not sure the topic was “bring a fun fact from a general point of view” and that's the more reason I explained. Thanks and God bless

Yes, I'm ready

Shoottt us

💯 ready!!! 💃💃💃
