Disney is one of those companies that are so big that you can't even take it in, you just know that they own a bunch of things like fox, ESPN, ABC, Lifetime, History, A&E, FX, lucasarts, Marvel and many other media networks. theater, production, musical, publications, printed video games, consumer goods, hotels, cruise lines, theme parks, real estate developments, owns or has a majority stake in so many things that it is easier to count the things that Disney does not own .
Being so enormous, the concept of suing Disney sounds ridiculous, naive, almost comical, a waste of time and a risk for the career before those who dare to do it, as already seen by actors like Robin Williams but that does not seem to matter to him. Scarlett Johansson who sued the Mouse Ears Corporation for breach of a clause in the actress's contract where Disney promised her an exclusive release of the movie Black Widow in theaters and a share proportional to the success of the box office who had the film Disney decided to launch the film simultaneously in theaters and on its Disney Plus digital platform, cannibalizing box office revenues without participating in the actress.
Basically, Disney, instead of fulfilling its contract and allowing a reasonable time to pass before releasing the film in digital format, after it was released in theaters, decided to default and keep the 60 million dollars that its digital platform took from earnings. at the box office, without distributing that cake, but not only that when Johansson makes the lawsuit public Disney publishes his response trying to turn public opinion against the actress using the plandemic as a pretext and they cannot edit in the process sound too similar to any of the villains from his movies.
But Disney goes further and tries to embarrass the actress in its statement by mentioning the amount of 20 million dollars that it initially paid her to appear in the film, accusing her of being greedy for obtaining a millionaire payment and still wanting more, with which they honestly look like clowns because if we greed, we go Disney intentionally cannibalized the box office not only to promote its Disney plus digital platform, but also charged $ 30 in addition to the subscription for premium access to the film on its platform.
