The purge is ramping up currently as Youtube channel banning sees a massive spike amid the ongoing war for the global narrative. When does free speech become hate speech? Where do we draw the line? The debate is intensifying and channels with over a million subscribers are being banned overnight in the current purge. And that is why this Hive social media platform is more important and valuable than ever today.
Citizen journalism has exploded with the era of the internet. We have all been given a platform to speak to the world. If your opinions and speech appeal to the masses, you get a following and your reputation grows. But since 2020 arrived, since the lockdown, since Black Lives Matter has been pushed as an agenda by the liberal socialists, suddenly every white man with a large following on controversial issues, is being silenced. Or so it seems. One such Youtuber – Stefan Molyneux – has just had his channel with close to a million followers banned and thousands of hours of work deleted. And he was just a philosopher, informed and educated and commenting on the zeitgeist of the day. Now he’s gone from Youtube altogether.
And he’s not the only one. Their was a tweaking of the Youtube algorithm against so-called white extremist speech, but as we know, algorithms are dumb robots, so in the attempt to control the narrative, Youtube has dumped perfectly legitimate speakers in the trash bin of history. It appears as if Youtube is facilitating the Democratic narrative in USA in this heated election year, exactly like Facebook did in the last election in 2016. As we know, the global mainstream media is owned by six corporations, so the narrative or editorial is hugely controlled. There is no objective media source in the world. All have an agenda and are “mouthpieces of propaganda” or platforms to dominate the public mindset.
“@TeamYouTube just suspended the largest philosophy conversation the world has ever known.” said Molyneaux in a tweet yesterday.
The fact that Youtube controls more than 70% of the online video sharing space, and its parent company Google controls 85% of online searches, suggests that there is no balance or fairness in the airwaves at present. And it may be getting worse as these giants, who are probably controlled by a certain political party or ideology are now able to silence their opposition at will.
Now, more than ever, our decentralized and uncensored cryptocurrency social media platforms are the solution to this exact crisis in the upholding of freedom of speech. We are ahead of the curve here with our online blogging site and we will see the situation worsen by the month. This trend will never reverse. The solution is nothing short of a revolution. We all need to shift away from those legacy social media platforms that are controlled and take our stance here on the Hive blockchain.
More activists, independent journalists and those with a voice, will be flocking to our blockchain in the coming wave of adoption. It’s inevitable. We have already seen it happening, with the earlier Youtube crypto purge that many top crypto channels went through. As a result they joined us on our alternative blockchain platforms, right here. And as the planet goes through this massive shift in the narrative of the day, the zeitgeist, the new norm, pushed by the agenda of the elites primarily, we will stand tall as bastions of free speech and liberty. These are our inalienable human rights, not just political rights. We are all entitled to free speech, freedom of thought and the ability to self-censor based on our conscience.
I’m so glad I found the blockchain social media site. It has given me my voice. And it has given me the desire to defend free speech for everyone. The corporation that hosts your narrative should not be the gatekeeper. We may have “guardians” or “curators” who maintain etiquette among us, but we need to know where to draw the line between censorship and hate speech. Obviously whoever tweaks the algorithms or programs the AI in the future, will determine the parameters of free speech. That leaves a very big grey area, and the debate can go on as to where to draw the line. But to censor the debate itself is a sign that the controllers are uncertain of their opinion or afraid of competition. And this causes them to silence their opposition, which is illegal or at least immoral.
In a dictatorship like China, this kind of thing has been going on for decades already. Are we to become Planet China? I fear so. Also in a society ruled by Sharia, ultimately a bigoted culture ensues. Freedom of speech overrides any one sect’s opinion of the “truth” or moral standard. Unfortunately “Sharia” could be coming to a platform near you soon, or indeed to USA, one state at a time, disguised as BLM. Just watch. Fundamentalism is sneaking in to USA – supposedly the most free land of all, where the pursuit of liberty is enshrined in the constitution. The playing field is changing more than you realize.
In the name of justice, morality and goodness, we will see injustice, abuse to women and minorities, racism and bigotry, along with elitist and supremacist narratives, not by whites, but by religious fundamentalists and blacks. This reverse racism and dictatorship mentality is coming, it’s unfolding today, right now in USA under the current civil war disguised as BLM ideology.
Now is the time to remember that “the pen is mightier than the sword”. The control of the narrative, the use of social media, will determine the minds of the masses, and by words alone, one can empower a people, or one can crush any disagreement by riling up opposition mob. Harm to none and respect are the symptoms of a cultured civilization. And so is the ability to speak your mind. Unfortunately we have descended into a culture where whoever has the loudest voice wins, which is the same as whoever has the biggest guns wins. Gone is the ability to debate ideas with words around a table in order to come to a consensus, or to vote democratically about a topic.
The only channels left, as your votes become rigged and your voice silenced and banned, are here on the decentralized Hive blockchain social media platform, so I may be speaking to those already on board, but there may be others who need to know this. So tell your friends. Empower them by giving them the platform, giving them their voice, when the elites are fast busy taking it away on the old and outdated systems that they control.

Good point, let's hope he can get it reinstated, otherwise the 3speak video channel here may be better. Of course the reach is smaller still on our blockchain sites.
With 3Speak it will not make it, too small and slow.
