Life can throw at you a series of bad events all at once like a domino effect. It can also be a series of good events. But how we manage the bad is very important in staying put together and forging ahead. I have seen stress and anxiety break a person. The truth is that problems and challenges never end. I would dare say, pressures are part of life. So managing stress and anxiety is key to living a happy life or else one would go through this life always feeling sad and unhappy.
One of the things that I do to cope with the stresses and pressures of life is to try and keep a positive energy. In the case of a bad incident or news, what I do is to find one good thing from it to be grateful for despite all the bad. And then I concentrate on that one good thing. This is because, life is a choice, to be happy is a choice and it is one choice we should make an effort to make everyday in every situation, whether good or bad. So I look for the good in a particular situation no matter how messed up the situation is and focus on it.
Also, when I feel the pressure of life is becoming too much to handle I just let go. Sometimes we stress ourselves holding on to something that is out of our control.
There are things that are better when we allow them go than holding onto them. I still remember a period when I tried to keep a job that was stressed me out continuously. My boss was a person that would push you to work until you were beyond tired, and after everything,he would begin to complain and downgrade everything I did. I endured his continuous complaints and criticism even when it was stressed me out emotionally and physically. Until one day, I snapped and decided to let go.
I put in my resignation letter and resigned from work. A month later, I got a new job that paid better with healthy working conditions and free of stress.
It is also important for us to identify the kind of stress condition we are in to effectively tackle it. For example, If it is physical stress, then you know you need to take it easy on the kind of work you do. If it is emotional stress, then you know it could be the kind of relationship you're in that may be stressing your peace of mind. And so on.
To conclude, I believe life is a choice, no matter how bad a day we are having or how hectic life could get. Choosing to be happy and feeling positive emotions is a choice we should make each time.

The choice lies within us to make when it comes to stress management. Sincerely many have died as a result of cardiac arrest and other mental disorder.
