In these regular updates we will bring fresh content to Hive in the form of our game coding experiences; IBT is a developing PC game - the one to have future Crypto interactions.
Sorry about the delays - our lead programmer has been down with COVID and ouch...anyways, now he is largely recovered and here's what we have been up to in recent days.
The Inventory
Most adventure games have an inventory on what you wear and what you are equipped with. With IBT we are trying to have the inventory already in view on your character. For example if you have an axe you will see it on your hip, the same as a pick. If you make a better axe than the one on your hip will be automatically replaced since you would no longer need it.
The backpack can also be upgraded as you go along. Since you start without a backpack your carry limit will be minimal. After crafting the backpack the backpack itself can be modified to carry more items. There is a chance that you may come across a backpack from another person who didn't make it and the quality will be much better and be capable of heavier materials. There will be storage boxes you can make that allows you to place items in that and this will help lighten your load.
Sunrise and Sunset
In Australia the sun rises in the East and sets in the West. So we have finally managed to get the sun to follow the correct axis and if you look carefully it even corresponds with the compass in the top right corner of the image. As we look West the red compass arrow points due West.
