En mi casa hay tantas tradiciones como en el resto de mi país y del mundo.
En casa solemos pintar y decorar la Navidad a mediados de noviembre ya que cuando llega la temporada navideña la casa esté lista para recibirla, colocamos el árbol de Navidad y el Nacimiento del Niño Dios.
La primera semana organizamos todas las compras de los ingredientes de las Hallacas para su preparación, nos reunimos en casa de mi madre, mis hermanas, mi tía María y yo, y nos ponemos manos a la obra para hacer nuestra guarnición principal del plato navideño de nuestra cena de Navidad.
El 31 de diciembre esperamos en Familia y Unión el año nuevo y gritamos feliz año nuevo a coro, y no pueden faltar las copas con las 12 uvas y el vino.
Pero hoy quiero destacar nuestra tradición del día del Espíritu de Navidad.
El Espíritu de la Navidad se celebra el 21 de diciembre y es una celebración que destaca la solidaridad, el compartir y la magia.
Se dice que en esta fecha, todos los años, el Espíritu de la Navidad baja a la Tierra y visita a todas aquellas personas de buena voluntad por la noche, concretamente entre las 22.00 y las 12.00 horas, el Espíritu de la Navidad devuelve la paz, la abundancia, la riqueza y el amor. a quienes practican su tradición.
En mi casa tenemos la tradición de esperarlo en familia y ese día por la noche realizamos un intercambio de regalos y cenamos con frutas.
También es costumbre que un familiar sea el ayudante de Papá Noel y lleve un obsequio a los niños de la casa con un mensaje de Papá Noel. Este año le tocó el turno a mi prima Joseline, que tenía esta misión y así empezamos a intercambiar regalos.
En esta ocasión me tocó darle regalo a mi cuñado Joan, el esposo de mi hermana quien me regalo en esta ocasión a mi.
Después de la entrega de regalos, nos tomamos nuestra acostumbrada selfie familiar.
