Welcome to the 143rd round of my special weekly photo challenge known as Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun :)
I know a lot of photo contests with nature as the main theme were/are/will be hosted by various people on the Hive blockchain but I wanted to come up with something more than just another photo contest where participants would submit their best natural photos. Therefore, I decided to go for quite an unusual concept that I am going to introduce in the following lines.
The aim of the Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun photo challenge is not to make you dig up your photo archives and submit the best pictures of nature that you have ever taken. Instead, I want you guys to go out and appreciate the beauty of our nature right now.
The internet (and the Hive blockchain as well) is flooded with picture perfect shots of landscapes, mountains, forests, beaches etc. taken years ago. But this is not what I want to see in this challenge. I want to see shots that may not be necessarily stunning but they must be fresh, proving that you have just physically spent some time outdoors in the fresh air. But remember that nature comes in many forms. It doesn´t have to be a pristine jungle or a deep remote forest. An urban park, a botanical garden, a little grove on the outskirts of your town - pretty much any place with some trees, plants, rocks, bodies of water or any other natural features would be just as fine ;)
Obviously, there is no way for me to verify whether the photo that you submit in the challenge is really fresh or if it was even taken by you so I am relying on your honesty guys. The prizes for the winners (as described below) are more symbolical than overly motivating so I don´t expect too much fraudulent behavior in this challenge anyway.
I want to keep the rules of this challenge as simple and benevolent as possible so let´s agree on just this:
Only one entry (photo) per person per round.
The photo must be yours and not older than one week.
Add a few words about the photo, at least where and when you took it.
You can start submitting your entries to this round in the comment section below from now until the next round.
Prior to publishing the next round post, I will pick 3 winners, give my full upvote on their entries and feature them in the next round of the challenge. As long as the response is not too overwhelming, I will also try to give some smaller upvotes on all of the other entries to reward all participants.
I might change the concept and/or the rules of the photo challenge later on, depending on how things go. I usually host the challenge on Thursday but when needed for some reason, I can host it on some other day so better check my blog regularly not to miss out on it ;)
To keep up with you guys, I submit my own fresh natural photo to every round´s post too :) Here is my contribution to start out this round:
Last weekend, we went to explore the famous Brevnov Monastery here in Prague, Czech Republic and while the monastery itself was really amazing and you can surely expect a post about it here on my Hive blog soon, I actually also enjoyed the nearby park with this picturesque little lake called Marketa. It was mostly cloudy that day but I waited for this shiny moment when the sun peeked through the clouds to light up the lake scenery and this is what I got :) Pretty happy with the result. Image taken in front of the monastery in the afternoon last Saturday.

Thank you @phortun for initiating this wonderful weekly photo challenge. Here's my entry for this week's round from the beautiful country Philippines. I took this photo in Siaton, Negros Oriental yesterday. This is located in a secluded area and there are 2 ways to get there. The easiest way is to ride a pumpboat however, we left no option as there's no available boat who can convey us to turtle island. We took the other way where we walk around 2 kilometers to get there. Since we don't have a choice of course we walked. It's not that far but enough to get us sweat. I was curious how this turtle island looks like. Is it nice? I asked myself but when we arrived at the area the scenery didn't disappoint me. It is like a little paradise. The place is quiet and if you're seeking tranquility, I'm sure you can find it here.

On Sunday, I walked to a viewpoint located on Vršački breg. Near the town of Vršac (Banat, Serbia)...
From this rock you can see the Banat Plain, a little foggy... When it's a clear day, you can see the Krapatis, which are located in Romania...😊

I love this view up in the sky when I visited my hometown. I am nkw living in the city butbI was born in the mountain. Everytime I went home, I mesmerized the place most especially that I lost my parent already. The more, it reminds me how they love me.

Hi @phortun, this is my entry for this week.
This was taken last Wednesday afternoon in Valencia, Negros Oriental, Philippines. I was on duty that day however, the power supply was out in the afternoon and the generator didn't function well so my boss let me go home early and it was so perfect as my friend invited me to go with her in Casaroro Falls.
That was my second time in Casaroro Falls but I still wanted to keep coming back because of its stunning beauty. Here's one of my photos while I was in the wilderness.

Before its to late, I would like to share with you my latest amazing nature in my garden. I am living in a desert but how amazingly happened to have a garden like this. I will let you say if it is great or not? I took this yesterday noon while picking up some vegetable.

For my entry: The majestic Casaroro waterfalls in Valencia, Philippines. It is considered to be the most photographed waterfall in the entire Negros province with an impressive height of 100 feet tall. It was an unplanned trip the other day with my sister and a friend. It only takes 30 minutes drive from home and because I am so fascinated when it comes to waterfalls , I've visited here many times.

Nothing special within the last 7 days. This is from a walk through a foggy forest in Vienna, next to a shopping centre, in the nowhereland between the mall and a highway.
Thank you, looks pretty wild and pristine for a place that is located next to a shoppig center. I also like this foggy mysterious feel of it :)
Here's my entry for this week. This photo is taken on our farmland in San Isidro, Davao Oriental Philippines. I and the whole family had a wonderful visit to our farm and we enjoyed harvesting bananas. I also took pictures of the wild flowers and some farm animals. We love the trip and we love nature the most!

I’ve noticed recently that a lot of top of mountainous clouds shots have been featured a lot. I still remember how confusing the last one by onlavu was for me.
