Agradecida por una experiencia | Grateful for an experience
Cada momento que nos hace sentir y nos forma, es digno de ser agradecido, y hoy decido agradecer mi experiencia como músico, una faceta de mi vida que siempre estará presente en mí. Desde niña incursioné en la escuela de música de mi ciudad, primero como integrante del coro infantil y aspirante a aprendiz de violín, porque es un instrumento de linda sonoridad y versátil para los estilos, además siempre es mostrado como símbolo para señalar la música, pero, nunca tenía oportunidad o el instrumento era muy pequeño o cualquier excusa surgía para que no iniciara mi aprendizaje, hasta que un día ocurrió algo muy especial para mí, mi primer encuentro con el violoncello, eso fue amor a primera vista, lo escuché y ya no quería otra opción, y lo mejor es que era del tamaño adecuado para mí, así que tuve el privilegio de que me lo asignaran para empezar mi historia como instrumentista. Año tras año fui aprendiendo a tocar el violoncello y fui creciendo simultáneamente en mi participación en la orquesta, viví todas las etapas. Agradezco haber aguardado hasta el momento preciso, porque pude unirme y compenetrarme con el instrumento perfecto para mí, y que me hace sentir feliz.
Every moment that makes us feel and forms us, is worthy of being grateful, and today I decide to thank my experience as a musician, a facet of my life that will always be present in me. Since I was a child I went to the music school in my city, first as a member of the children's choir and as an aspiring violinist, because it is an instrument with a beautiful sound and versatile for the styles, besides it is always shown as a symbol to point out the music, but, I never had the opportunity or the instrument was very small or any excuse arose so that I did not start my learning, until one day something very special happened to me, my first encounter with the cello, that was love at first sight, I heard it and I didn't want any other option, and the best thing is that it was the right size for me, so I had the privilege of being assigned it to start my story as an instrumentalist. Year after year I learned to play the cello and grew simultaneously in my participation in the orchestra, I lived all the stages. I am thankful for having waited until the right moment, because I was able to unite and get acquainted with the perfect instrument for me, and that makes me feel happy.
Agradezco haberme formado como violoncellista porque en todo ese proceso de evolución fui aprendiendo el trabajo en equipo, disciplina, además pude conocer a personas talentosas que compartieron su conocimiento conmigo, hice amistades que he mantenido a lo largo de los años a pesar de que decidimos tomar rumbos distintos, también agradezco porque la música me unió a personas de otras partes de Venezuela, pude vivir mi experiencia como acompañante de interpretes musicales de mi ciudad que buscaban desarrollar su talento, agradezco además tener la dicha de sentir la música directamente, esto es un placer que invade todo el ser, porque la música brinda emociones aparte de la melodía que cala en nuestros oídos.
I am grateful to have been trained as a cellist because throughout this process of evolution I learned teamwork, discipline, and I was able to meet talented people who shared their knowledge with me. I made friendships that I have maintained over the years even though we decided to take different paths, I am also grateful because music brought me together with people from other parts of Venezuela, I was able to live my experience as an accompanist of musical performers from my city who were looking to develop their talent, I am also grateful to have the joy of feeling music directly, this is a pleasure that invades the whole being, because music provides emotions apart from the melody that falls on our ears.
Ser músico violoncellista me ha hecho sentir plena y agradezco haber tenido la oportunidad de vivir esta experiencia.
Being a cellist has made me feel fulfilled and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to live this experience.

Crear algo con tus propias manos es una experiencia surrealista. Yo no tuve esa experiencia con la música pero sí a nivel más técnico con la reparación de computadoras y luego cuando entré en la universidad creando de cero un código de más de 5000 líneas del cual no quedó ni rastro pero lo recuerdo y estoy orgullosa de él.
