WHAT IS PINMAPPLE?
Pinmapple (formerly Steemitworldmap) is a collection of the best travel content on the Hive blockchain shown on a map. And when you pin you blog to the map the new feature will show all your travel blogs in one push on the button.
WHY SHOULD I USE PINMAPPLE?
On Hive its an extra and your blog has another place where eyes can see all your adventures and vote so an extra as an author, once you enter your travel location, you get an auto-generated code containing the location of your post. If done correctly, adding this code to your post will enable the Pinmapple team and bot to find the location of your post and pin it on the map within minutes.1
The procedure works on any front-end for Hive.
Once your location is pinned to the Pinmapple map, it will be curated by the Pinmapple team.
Every day the Pinmapple team curates the best travel posts and issues a Travel Digest to showcase the authors' works.
We have had some of our redfishralliers make the list and we are proud because pinmapple is one of the assignments we have each month. Never forget to use it when you make a travel story.
This helps authors to gain more exposure and recognition. The team also upvotes the authors on Hive so they are rewarded for their quality posts.
DIRECTIONS TO PIN YOUR TRAVEL LOCATION TO PINMAPPLE:
{For this example, I chose as my location:
Rotterdam, wilhelminakade }
Go to: https://pinmapple.com;
Click in the Search box and type the location of your travel; Hit ENTER;
- Click GET CODE;
- Click on the location result on the Pinmapple map;
- A box at the bottom of the page will appear;
- Enter a name for your location;
- Click on the code underneath the name for your location
~ Message above the code will state: Copied Successfully;
~ Paste the code into your post. Anywhere in your post will be sufficient. You may need to place a space before and after the code.
NOTE:
a) The map is hidden and WILL NOT appear in PREVIEW.
b) The location will be added to the Pinmapple Map ONLY after you publish the post.
c) @pinmapple will visit your post and leave a comment once your location has been added to its map. The Comment will contain:
~ A notice that your post has been successfully added to the Map
On the different parts of Europe.
Plus A link to your Pinmapple PROFILE so that you can check if your location is correct.
d) Only 1 location per post will be pinned to the map, and cant be changed or added later.
e) Pinmapple code must be included in post prior to publishing.

Of course I also am a fan of Travelfeed.io @travelfeed and their website is just as cool to use. When you use travelfeed.io the pinmapple coordinates are asked to AND the blog is also published on hive, so three +’s for us as bloggers, the more eyes ythe hopefully more votes.

Easy to use and nice to find out about places you visited, congratulations on having pinned so many!
I have enjoyed using, of late using mixed place photography, will be sure to place back on the map on next post again, that one is firmly in one place still.

Its still is one of the best ways to add your travels , outings and tips worldwide to the world ap. You probably didn’t see, but this is a ten month old blog.
The blog I made while you were in the REDFISHRALLY, still actual for our newest members who got guidance this morning in adding this to their blog. And thats why we shared it in the room helpfull toolsites in The Terminal this morning and I think it’s great we and also I are still your secret source of information, really helpfull for your newbie initiative.

Yeah, I was in the terminal this morning and I saw the blog. I didn't see the age of the blog.... Yeah, I thought of it to be great for the Newbies Initiative too, I would see how I can make use of it as a task for them.

You were in the terminal yet you didnt talk ? Thats lurking hahahahah Never steal redfishrally assignments thats not what we like. Make your own, and the fact that you use the information we accumulated is a good thing i guess, but i dont like lurking and not engaging in the discord. When work and effort is appreciated we like to hear that. So keep that in mind while making a new assigmment with pinmapple. You are capable enough to think of something and that will get the neebies going for sure
