Inability of the absent
________

I am unable to relinquish
this cage of glam'rous prisms;
shot through with moonbeams —
delicious indecisions.

Times spent in stasis,
suspended, held by spaces:
contract and then rewind.

All the while the seasparks
and lofty motes of lightning
speak to me in murmurs
intoxicating, frightening —
assuaging, stimulating;
delighting and conveying
a blissborne tapestry.

It is I who speaks;
an I seen — never found,
but dimly sensed, hypothesized
by touch — blind evidence
of triple-filtered data:
It is I who states
my inability.

To experience inadequacy is the beginning of reaching out to the supernatural. As time goes on we realize our limits are even smaller than we imagined. For example the cover picture. It seems to me that it is the close up of a leaf. The spectrum our eyes can catch is so small and even still we cannot catch some colors if the light is a little shady. The camera lens allows you to copy a part of nature, but you still only have the surface.

I think you might like this one:

"Times spent in stasis,

This is a great way of describing time that does not move!

This one is a blissborne tapestry for sure. Love the depth of field and texture on those shots as well.

Well done old friend.
