Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

“What are you thankful for?” A lot of this going on around here; especially at this time of year. Most people know intuitively, at least to some degree, that the privileges and good things they enjoy in life are given to them and that they are meant to be grateful for what they have. I have friends from all walks of the divinity circle. Some thank God, some thank their good fortune, their lucky stars, good karma, or, some other vague force successfully working here in this universe.

So who is it that is being thanked? Not only am I not sure, but I don't think it really matters. The truth is, the act of carrying Thanksgiving in your heart is good for you. All year long.

I'm pretty sure you don't even have to be in good standing with the Catholic Church to say "Count your blessings." So much has linked thankfulness to better sleep, health, and overall happiness. Oh, yes. Being thankful is quite beneficial, if not a tad therapeutic.
Pretty Christmas balls. I am pretty sure I can be thankful for them. They make me smile. Frequently, I might add.

The days leading up to Thanksgiving are often reflective of days gone by, different places, and a mix of the old and new in my life. Some days, I don't even know I have it so good. Sometimes, we have to just stop and marvel at our many hidden blessings to be truly thankful. May your tomorrow and days that follow be filled with the warmth of the season.

I am thankful for a wonderful family, beautiful friends, and everyday, simple, thoughtful gestures. I am thankful for all the love that has been sent my way; the happiness that has filled my life and the joy in my heart. May you all have a wonderful, blessed Thanksgiving. Enjoy, give thanks to others, and have a great, great day.

Thank you for visiting my post 💖 As always, there were flowers. @alwaysaflower... And never forget, kindness counts. Wherever you go, whatever you do.

they set my aunts house on fire
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?

i’ve been praying,
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.

later that night
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,

"everywhere"
"everywhere"
"everywhere"

Happy Thanksgiving Day!
I know it's an important holiday and it's one of your favorite holidays.
It is important to thank, no matter who, so we understand that we do not deserve everything in the world and we must be grateful for what we receive. I'm glad for your joy in these moments.

I agree! We must be thankful for all things, big and small. I am glad that I am able to find the joy! What a huge miss if I didn't appreciate what life had to offer me.

I do love this time of year! You are right about that People are kinder, warmer and things just seem brighter.

I hope you have a great weekend, Dan! @bluemoon

The days are more and more beautiful, as we begin to recover from the disease.
A beautiful weekend for you!

Great to set aside time everyday to be grateful, as always flowers and tinkering goodies makes us feel all joyful too!

Enjoying family and friends creating new memories, a wonderful way expressing what you are grateful for.

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving Denise.

Thank you so much! You are certainly right about that and the new memories will be looked upon some day as an adventure. :))

Thank you for your wonderful wishes. May you be blessed richly with a wonderful season of joy.

Enjoy with those you are able to celebrate with, stay safe in the comfort of your home, 2020 has been an emotional roller-coaster ride, perhaps just being is a good place to start.

Happy Thanksgiving Denise !

Happy Thanksgiving, El! I hope it's wonderful and that you and the family can have a socially distant holiday. If you do, I want pictures!

Mwah! It's been a year for sure. I don't mind it ending one bit. 2021 has got to be better! It has a good chance. :) Eat pie first! Life is so uncertain.

Happy Thanksgiving @dswigle wishing you and family the very best of all and enjoy that big bird 😊

Thank you so much. It is always nice to gather together, so this year was different, but, we have each other, which is more than some have. I am grateful for that.

This year has certainly made it difficult for many people around the world so sad it's one year we want to leave behind and forget ...

Have a great weekend @dswigle and having each other is the most important 💖

Happy Thanksgiving indeed. I have so much to be thankful for that I probably won't even get it all named today. But I'll try!

So who is it that is being thanked? Not only am I not sure, but I don't think it really matters. The truth is, the act of carrying Thanksgiving in your heart is good for you. All year long.

Exactly. Don't know, doesn't matter :)

I do have 5 siblings to call today, a new personal best. I'm thankful for that.

I'm thankful for friends, like you, that brighten my day. Everyday.

Happy Thanksgiving Denise!! Wishing you and yours a most wonderful Turkey Day!! 🦃💕

Thank you so much!! Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you have a most wonderful day! Love to you and yours!

You're very welcome! 💕

Happy Thanksgiving... though we don't really care about that here.
What the retailer is making us care about is Black Friday.

Come on now! :)) You were here long enough to appreciate Thanksgiving? LOL it's true! They have made Thanksgiving all about Black Friday . I'm actually not buying anything and haven't bought anything yet this year on their super sales. Have a wonderful day and good luck on your Black Friday shopping! Thanks for stopping by and saying hello!

I think I have to buy something to feel good a bit.
It's like we wasted one year already. I need something to pamper myself.
