No podemos negar que este año ha sido turbulento para nuestro querido planeta, comenzando por los incendios en el Amazonas, Australia, tornados y volcanes en erupción, entre otros. Y ahora los seres humanos nos vemos amenazados por una pandemia de proporciones descomunales como es el Coronavirus.
We cannot deny that this year has been turbulent for our beloved planet, starting with fires in the Amazon, Australia, tornadoes and erupting volcanoes, among others. Now we humans are threatened by a pandemic of enormous proportions such as the Coronavirus.
La tierra ha tenido un respiro gracias a la cuarentena responsable que muchos estamos llevando a cabo y las emisiones de CO2 se han reducido en una cuarta parte. Seguramente todo esto nos ha hecho reflexionar ante nuestro papel como habitantes de este hermoso planeta, el único que podemos llamar "nuestro" y al que no cuidamos de la mejor manera.
The earth has had a break thanks to the responsible quarantine that many are carrying out and CO2 emissions have been reduced by a quarter. Surely all this has made us reflect on our role as inhabitants of this beautiful planet, the only one we can call "ours" and which we do not care for in the best way.
Amo la costa porque he crecido en ella y el mar tiene una energía y una fuerza tan poderosa que ata tu corazón, cuantos extranjeros no han sido cautivados por las playas venezolanas a tal punto de quedarse a vivir en la dorada arena y hacer su vida en Venezuela.
I love the coast because I have grown up there and the sea has such a powerful energy and force that it ties your heart, how many foreigners have not been captivated by the Venezuelan beaches to the point of staying to live in the golden sand and make their lives in Venezuela.
Nuestra casa nos necesita y hoy que celebramos su día es momento propicio para hacer una llamado a la reflexión, está en nuestras manos ser más ecológicamente responsables, cuidar nuestros recursos y de esta manera agradecer a la tierra todo lo que nos da.
