My life doesn't work without passion; I apply it to most things I do; Sitting on the couch watching a movie with Faith, out for a few drinks on a date or in the wilderness shooting - We apply it to pretty much everything. We passionately engage with our lives and don't really know any other way to be...It seems a lot of hivers do the same, certainly based on the 540+ comments left on the #weekend-engagement topic post over the weekend. It was really inspirational to see so much cross-commenting and interest people showed in each others passions and I hope all of you who came along and joined in had a good time.

Just on the whole engagement thing...For those of you who are not part of the Hive Engagement League you might want to click the link and get involved. You don't need to do much, just leave a comment there asking @abh12345 to join you up and then all you have to do is engage on hive as usual. Asher tracks your engagement, and a few other statistics, and you can measure your engagement-activity against some of the other hivers. The results come out once a week on Sunday and it's a great way to track how you're doing from an engagement perspective; The weekly post via the link back there will explain it all. It's cool to get on board, and a really great way to gain some additional exposure to some of the best hive-engagers in the business!

500 is pretty good yeah, great engagement this week. I think the all time high was over 800 but 500+ is a good number too.

Thanks! @galenkp I don't know how you can keep up with all the comments, my internal resource credits run out long before mine do on hive. I'm still catching up/getting around to all the comments from this weekend :)
I use Ginabot on Discord which notifies me of a comment directly to me so I don't miss any. As far as comments on comments from other users...Well, I just scroll through the topic post and comment here and there. I try to stay out of it though and let those in the comment thread take the lead. It's not easy to do but I feel like supporting those who support the topic post and concept in general so it's important I get to all of the comments left directly.
I'd forgotten about ginabot. It can sometimes take me an hour or more to craft a response that I am satisfied with so when people really get to engaging it can be a bit overwhelming to respond to all of them in a timely fashion.
Lol, I'm going to have to come up with a better method of dealing with that it seems :)
Ginabot keeps me apprised of the comments and I tend to address each one as rapidly as I can. It makes it hard for those that come through over night, like this one for you. Sometimes I'm up at 0500 and can respond, but sometimes like today it's midday before I can get to them. I always get to them though.
I've been using www.engage.hivechain.app lately which is pretty good. My brother put me onto it and whilst it's a bit odd at first I'm liking it. I still haven't worked out how to drop an image into a comment though. It is worth a look though, for sure....

People have different needs in life I guess; Seems you're like me and have to have some passion involved; Like you say, it binds things together.

While I understand it's okay for a lot of people not to pursue any calling and throwing them fully into work they never enjoy — I shiver at such an idea of life.
Life seems too precious to waste by not applying passion to it and yet I think many waste it - I suppose it's all personal choice right?
Yeah, I guess none of us can't choose for others. It's their loss.
