Greed is an uncontrolled longing for an increase in the acquisition or use: of material gain; or social value, such as status, or power. Greed has been identified as undesirable throughout known human history because it creates behavior-conflict between personal and social goals.
Read this little story and see what greed can do to you:
One day someone left a jar of delicious sweet honey standing on the table. They forgot to put the lid on and within a very short time the honey jar was covered with awful annoying flies.
The flies were extremely happy and took their chance to indulge in the honey.
Within a few minutes, the flies were all covered in honey and couldn't move their wings anymore. They were all stuck and couldn't move an inch. This was a death sentence for all the flies involved. Just because they were greedy it cost them their lives.
Some of you might think that is an awful story and the poor flies had a right to live. Others might think good riddance! Whatever your mindset, there is nothing good about this little story.
How many of you have stepped over the line and betrayed or hurt people close to you just because you overindulged in alcohol? Just because nobody knows about it, t doesn't make it go away. Just because you didn't tell your husband or wife makes it okay.
Who of you has sneaked in an extra piece of cake to indulge on, just to put on a few extra pounds?
Who of you has taken more than your share of something and then felt bad about it?
We are all greedy sometimes, but greediness will not get you anywhere in life. Every time you want to overdo something, think about the flies in the honey jar.....

Yeah...
I started my trading journey recently but on a demo account. And in the pdf I was given to read, it was clearly stated that it was better to be a winning trader than a losing one because of greed.
Even in sci-fi movies,greed are depicted as ugly creatures to repel people from the act.
Taking more than you need at a time is bad.
And when this becomes an habit, it's prone to destruction.
