What makes you happy?

Happiness is defined as:

The term happiness is used in the context of mental or emotional states, including positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. It is also used in the context of life satisfaction, subjective well-being,  eudaimonia, flourishing, and well-being.

What really makes you happy in life?

If you are not a happy person what exactly will it take to make you happy?

If you lose weight? If you found a new job? If you leave your unhappy marriage behind? More money?

This list can go on forever.

Have you ever thought about what exactly you are searching for?

What prevents you from being happy right now?

The laws of attraction can play some weird games with us in life.  The more positive we think, the more positive we feel, but this counts for the opposite as well.  The more negative thoughts we have, the more negative and miserable we feel.

It is abnormal to be happy all the time, but it is also abnormal to be unhappy all the time.

What is the difference between a happy person and an unhappy person?

A happy person focuses on what they have, while an unhappy person focuses on what they DON'T have....

Unfortunately, happiness can also be determined by our genes.  Fifty percent of our happiness comes from our genes, believe it or not. The other fifty percent is determined by our daily activities and current circumstances.

No one in life can determine your happiness except YOU.  It is impossible to change your genes, but you can actually do something about the other fifty percent of your unhappiness.

To be happy is a decision.  You can choose to be unhappy and just continue to feel miserable all the time, or you can choose to be happy.  If you choose to be happy you will feel better and be more positive.

You are the creator of your own life and you are responsible for your daily actions.

Change the way you think about life, and it will change your world.

I can't tell you how much I agree with everything you've written here!
I am always happy and also choose to be happy.

Such a shame that others choose to love to intentionally make me unhappy by way of drama, semantics, manipulation, lies, not cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen and so on...🙄

Also, you should read @tarazkp article and the following conversation thread here too. I think that you would find it very interesting and it relates directly to your article. https://peakd.com/hive-174578/@tarazkp/for-the-love-of-connection#@chocolatescorpi/re-tarazkp-qjzhyj

No worries, 3 posts all within the same topic on one night and all very interesting to learn from and expand our thinking... very serendipitous I think!
