Back to Nassau, Bahamas
Quite a few years ago (when Venezuelans were saving to travel), scheduling vacations we visited a travel agency and saw an offer for two days-two nights in Nassau, Bahamas. There was the money and the time, so we didn't think twice, there we went.
Since then I always wanted to return to The Bahamas, but with more days to enjoy the charms that the islands have, of which I only knew Nassau.
The Bahamas, officially the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (in English: Commonwealth of the Bahamas), is one of the last countries to form Insular America, the Antilles or Caribbean Islands, one of the thirty-five of the American continent. Its capital and most populous city is Nassau, located on the island of New Providence.

I fell in love with Nassau for its beaches with crystal clear waters that allow you to see the bottom, with its white sand, a pleasant distance and the temperature.
In addition to enjoying the enjoyment of the beach as such, the tourist structure was very well organized and there were games on the beach with mobile courts. Many years have passed, but I suppose that the tourist activity will continue to maintain its quality.
From anywhere on the island it is possible to enjoy excellent sea views. It is fascinating how many shades of blue extend into the distance to find yourself behind the horizon line with the azure blue and its clouds.
Another attraction, the sunken ships and the amount of stories about pirates.
In short, two wide paradises to enjoy, the surface and below it. Diving offers a lot of attraction as divers can explore fish concentrations or go snooping in submerged boats or just wander around the underwater surface

On second thought, my next trip to Nassau will be on a cruise, so that I can visit other islands and also enjoy the atmosphere on board and take countless wonderful photographs.
After all, dreaming costs nothing and gladdens the soul!

Never been to the big tourist spots in the Bahamas, but I have been to North Eleuthra and Harbor Island, and also the other little islands around it. Nicest people in the world, and when I was there, they had always had zero crimes!
Wonderful what you say. Now even more I want to go to The Bahamas to get to know those other islands. I've seen pictures of both North Eleuthra and Harbor Island, and it's like forgetting the rest of the world.

Yes it is. And so transparent that you can see your feet walking in the water. I keep precious memories of the images of that trip.

I love the beauty of the Bahamas and have been to Nassau many times, but, it is the smaller, less know that really attracts my attention. If you go by cruise, they go there or Freeport generally. But, yes! The place can be peaceful (jut stay away from the bigger cities now, so much crime!)
Sailing away sounds lovely. You never know. Dreams are cheap. Sometimes I can't even tell they are dreams. Have a great week ahead!

I love the Bahamas. I once traveled there by boat from the Florida Keys. It was just a small boat! There were about 15 of us on board. We hit some wild seas, and I pretty much felt lucky to be alive when I returned after our week-long excursion. But it was wonderful. I will never forget the gorgeous water, white sand beaches, and the sound of the steel drum bands playing music in the village bars at night.
Surely those memories will be indelible, you experienced something magical. But ... I'm not sure that I (currently) wanted to live that experience.
