A week ago I got the idea for #waterWednesday. I thought it would provide a fun way for people to showcase their various photos of water scenes.
However at that point I didnt realize how WET I would become getting a few photos for the Wet Wednesday tag! I spent about 400 bucks to rent a pontoon for the day. Needless to say, those reservations always have a "may not cancel due to weather" clause!
Until today I had no idea just how chilled you can become having been soaked literally! I mean the air temp was in the 80s but let me say it was freezing!!
Smith Mountain reminds me of Diamond Head in Hawaii!
Well the Old Guy is still on vacation. That means running low on sleep and too many snacks! What a life!

One should never be cold and wet on one’s summer vacation! But I know exactly what you mean. Everything changes out on the water. Enjoy the rest of your time off!
Hey @old-guy-photos I like the idea of #waterwednesday. i will see what i can come up with for next week. Happy vacation!
Got your flippers, snorkel and boat along with a camera, all good looks like fun. Beat the cold with a wet suit should prove loads of fun.
But hey you having your summer break, where did things go wrong? Enjoy, that is what life is all about.

Hard to imagine being cold in 80 degrees, but if the lake water is cold.... maybe.
Pretty photos though.
You have such a wonderful place there @old-guy-photos although I will be not liking the cold temperatures :D
Rain? I didn't see any rain! But we got your rain on Thursday, in the morning hours anyway. Looks like you are still managing to have fun.
I hope the weather gets a little better for you. It has been way too hot this week. Enjoy!
