Chicha is a popular and typical drink in Venezuela, in many of its towns you can find small businesses or mobile cars that sell this drink.
It is very rich, with a thick texture and has the goodness of being very versatile to combine with various toppings. Besides that, they also use the mixture to offer snacks to children; or when they stop breastfeeding, they introduce a chicha mixture into a bottle.
From my personal part, my couple of children love it and that is why I usually prepare it a couple of times a week for their snacks. In addition to the children, my brothers, my aunt and my mother also enjoy the sweet taste of chicha, which refreshes them in the afternoons. 🤗🤗

Ingredients:
- 150 gr of wheat pasta.
- 1.5 lt of water.
- Vanilla extract.
- 200 gr of powdered milk.
- 200 gr of sugar.

Preparation:
In a pot, put the water and put it to cook. When it is boiling point, we add the pasta. We stir a little and then when it is very soft, we remove from the heat. Let rest.
After resting for a couple of hours. We take the pasta and place it in a blender jar. We will add all the ingredients, which are milk, sugar and vanilla extract. See figures 1 to 4.
- Blend until all the ingredients are well integrated, converted into a homogeneous mixture. It is usually served with chunky ice and a sprinkled cinnamon.
They say that this recipe dates back to the grandmothers of the 1920s. It can also be made not based on wheat pasta, but based on rice. Pretending to be more of an atoll. 🍼
