It is Spring and it has been a long winter for JJ, the cat, not wanting to go out in the cold. With the warmth returning in the sun JJ will venture out onto the deck (which has been cleared of snow)and sit taking in the sun on the deck chair. We haven't had much melting yet so other then the deck there is lots of snow around.
Today JJ must have had enough and decided to venture out in the snow with Bruno and me.

He didn't last long and soon scurried out joining me on a bare patch left from the snow plow.

After awhile JJ had had enough and gave me a little meow signaling it was time to head back to the safe dry place at the house.

JJ was much more content surveying the snowy scene from the deck with his buddy Bruno, the German Shepard,and soon headed back to his chair to groom himself and take in the sun from there!

Although it is Spring here the temperatures are still below freezing except on the sheltered deck in the full sun, so at this time, this is the place I like to take in the rays listening to the sound of the birds along with JJ and Bruno!

Oh, but what a cute and bold cat" He doesn't mind the cold to go wandering around in the snow. Well, he also has enough body fat to insulate him from the cold, because he's chubby. He's a model!

Brrrr... that still looks very cold to me! I prefer my nice sunny indoor cat perch by the heater vent!

Yup, JJ looks like he had a VERY easy winter. :)) He's still a handsome boy though.
My cat does that too, and she's also a tabby with green eyes. The moment the weather warms up she is outside finding a place to soak up the sun, even if it means trudging through the snow.
