When Tickled Pink
the shades are drawn
petals given soft light
hush and then it comes
heavy clouds grant a deluge
the anatomy of a flower
deep and fragrant
on the scale of nano
a wellspring for Lilliputians
creepy crawlies
and winged intermediaries
go to the well bumble bee
drink the fermenting dew
and pollen laced absinthe
stumble and jolt
tumble and hover
take your time
have your way
with all the greedy girls
blooming and painted garish
shimmered and glossed
these heads hang heavy
when tickled pink

I love your photos! It really goes well with your poem. Stay safe always!
Thank you, sgbonus. Please stay safe too:)
What a brilliant pairing! Words as smooth as silk, caressing the blooms. Love, love, love.
The droplets are a favorite of mine and these shots really explode all over the page. The tulips are divine. So pretty in pink.

Thanks so much, Denise. I see you are running the #alwaysaflower tag here. I will be sure to post my next blooms there:)
Thank you! That is so kind of you. It is also a community, but, I don't pressure anyone to post into it unless they want. My upvote is not as big as a lot of the communities and hopefully, when I get a little more organized, it will grow like MarketFriday.
