De noche seras una y de dia otra, fue lo que en la mente de Amber quedó grabado, pasaron seis meses y ella continuaba con su vida, a excepción de que pasada las doce pm, de nuevo su corazón dejaba de latir y se convertía en aquella Katrina.
Tired of being 6 months watching how in such a short time her mother only fought and argued with her, while her stepfather spoiled her, they had exchanged roles not only at home but also in her daily life, she lives each day as if it were her last, of course not for her but for her mother, with the fear that one night that light would appear in the window of her room and she would have to follow her to meet again with that light and behind it that dark man, who had given an irreversible turn to Amber's life.
Cansada de estar 6 meses viendo cómo en tan poco tiempo su madre solo peleaba y discutía con ella, mientras que su padrastro la consentía, se habían intercambiado los roles no solo en casa si no también en su vida diaria, vive cada dia como si fuese el último, claro no para ella si no para su madre, con el temor de que una noche aquella luz apareciera en la ventana de su habitación y tuviese que seguirla para encontrarse de nuevo con aquella luz y detrás aquel hombre oscuro, que le había dado un giro irreversible a la vida de Amber.
The summer was ending and the time was coming to go back to college, meet her friends and leave the fortress of the mountains.
Terminaba el verano y se acercaba el momento de volver a la universidad, encontrarse con sus amigos y salir de la fortaleza de la sierra.

Preparing herself like any other day, one morning Amber decided that after going to college, she would go for a walk and wait for the night to arrive at the mountain range, take a shower, dress in black and wait for twelve pm and feel how her heart stopped beating as the time approached, her skin darkened, and her body temperature dropped to zero, as if she were dead.
Preparandose como cualquier otro dia, una mañana Amber, decidio que luego de ir a la universidad, saldria a caminar y esperaria la noche para llegar a la sierra, darse una ducha, vestirse de negro y esperar las doce pm y sentir como su corazon iba dejando de latir a medida que se acercaba la hora, su píel oscurecia, y su temperatura corporal bajaba a cero, como si estuviese muerta.

Transformed into Katrina, one could say that she was almost a being created by "The Dark One" because that's what Amber called the man behind the light.
Transformada en la Katrina, se podría decir que era casi un ser creado por “El oscuro” pues así llamaba Amber al hombre detrás de la luz.

Salió de su fortaleza en la sierra, empezó a seguir a seguir la luz, esta vez era tenue y más roja que la primera vez, la luz iba en forma de flama cual vela se mantenía vertical casi transparente y a punto de desaparecer se internó en el bosque, Amber con un poco de miedo, decidida a usarlo en contra del “oscuro”, aquella flama débil y tenue se tornó extremadamente grande de un momento a otro, Amber se detuvo al instante, mientras la luz tomaba “forma”.

-Come in search of something? -My dear Katrina. -said the dark one with sarcasm and arrogance.
-¿Vienes en busca de algo? mi querida Katrina. -Dijo el oscuro con sarcasmo y arrogancia-.
-I want my life back, I want to be left alone, I see how day by day my mother is getting weaker and weaker, while my imbecile stepfather only gives me gifts, compliments, money and does not pay any attention to my mother.
-Quiero que me devuelvas mi vida, que me dejes en paz, veo como dia a dia mi madre se hace cada vez más débil, mientras el imbécil de mi padrastro solo me da regalos, halagos, dinero y no le presta ni un poco de atención a mi madre.
-I can't give you anything back! -said the dark one in a voice of ice, stopping the breeze and silencing the animals and insects in the forest.
-Yo no puedo devolverte nada! -Dijo el oscuro con voz de hielo, deteniendo la brisa y haciendo callar a los animales e insectos del bosque-.
-The katrina went forward in front of the dark one, with its legs a little shaky. Why, aren't you supposed to be the all-powerful, master of the dark?
-La katrina se hizo hacia adelante, en frente del oscuro, con las piernas un poco temblorosas-. -¿Por qué? no se supone que eres el todopoderoso, amo de la oscuridad?.
-Indeed, my Katrina, I am! but that doesn't mean you'll get rid of the pact you made with me.
-Efectivamente mi Katrina, lo soy!- pero eso no quiere decir que te desharás del pacto que hiciste conmigo.
-What am I supposed to do then?
-¿Que se supone que haga entonces?-

-Debes darme algo a cambio de que yo “piense tu propuesta” jamás he deshecho un contrato -dijo el oscuro con voz dudosa-.

-Lo tengo, me darás a tu padrastro, ya que lo odias tanto y siempre has tenido resentimiento hacia él -Dijo el oscuro con voz burlona y maliciosa-.
Amber agreed, so they did, she and the dark one, went to the fortress of the saw to look for her stepfather, who was about to go down the high stairs to the parking lot, to look for some notes from the office... he never came up again.
Amber aceptó, así lo hicieron, ella y el oscuro, fueron a la fortaleza de la sierra a buscar a su padrastro, el cual se encontraba ya a punto de bajar las altas escaleras hacia el estacionamiento, para buscar unos apuntes de la oficina… jamás volvió a subir.
When the sun came up, Amber's mother looked all over the house for her husband and couldn't find him, so she went down to the parking lot.
Al salir el sol, la madre de Amber, buscó a su esposo por toda la casa y no daba con él, bajo al estacionamiento.
She found the body lifeless.
Se encontró con el cuerpo sin vida.
