As a prepper and someone who is committed to being as self sufficient as possible there’s one area that often gets overlooked. That’s being prepared outside of your home. We all travel at some point and take a few mile trips to a store or other locations. Have you ever thought about how you would survive and ultimately get back to your home if something happened with your car and nothing else was working?

In this video I go over items you could use in your car to be prepared for whatever life might throw your way.

Flares, a weatherproof poncho and ten meters of climbing and/or tow rope would be my additions.

Most plastic milk jugs are made to freeze without breaking. Also you will never regret having that toilet paper roll either inside a ziploc bag or some other waterproof storage device.

Great kit, thanks for sharing! We deal with freezing temps here often. I almost always have a Sawyer Mini water filter in one of my backpacks, weather it's on a walk with the dog or out backpacking in the backcountry. It comes with a little straw attachment so it can be used like a LifeStraw, but it also comes with a squeeze bag so you can easily fill up your Jet Boil and water bottles. Cheers!

Yay! 🤗
