Reading passage:- Romans 10:13.
13.For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Seeing the above passage reminds me so much of what happened in Numbers 31:6-10 where the children of Israel after disobeying God was asked to looked at the bronze snake made by Moses but yet some of them bluntly refused even when the snake is bitting them. As many that looked up to that bronze snake was saved and free from the bite.
Now looking carefully at our reading passage the first word there is For Whosoever that means whether you are a Jew, gentile, Samaritan, anyone at all you are free to call upon the name of the lord so far you believe and He also identifies you as His own, if not you will call in vain.
Many people in the Bible days called upon God and they were saved, our beloved brother Paul, Timothy, Luke, Philemon, Aquila, Mark, Prisca, Peter, John, Mary Magdalene and a host of many others and they were saved. So what are you waiting for? Call on him today and be saved.
The goodnews is that Jesus doesn't and will never ever discriminate or look down on anyone who calls on Him. He is fair to all, he is not like man, he attends to the poor, rich, healthy, sick, master, servant, boy, girl, man, woman, president, governor, chairman, chairlady, child, labourer etc. Like I said earlier call on him today and be saved.
If you refuse to call upon God like the children of Israel in Numbers 31:6-10 then be ready to perished.
