Now Armstrong was a tailor and own a shop for himself.
Then she began..and hat she would always do is that anytime is 5pm she noticed that it was the time he usually return from his shop. so she would go and stand around a mango tree were he always pass and then from a distance she will say to him.. welcome Armstrong how was work today.
fine and how is your own work beautiful lady fine, and off he goes his way and she will again return back home.
she continued to do this for two weeks but there was no reaction.
suddenly she decided to change her signs.
But before that it was her friends weeding at their neigbouring village.
As such she travelled for the weeding and spend a week.
During that period that she was away, anytime amstrong is returning from his shop, he no longer see her and it become a thing of concern to him but and he will always say to himself what is even my business with her whereabout , i wander what a beautiful lady will be doing everyday around a mango tree to make himself alright.
throughout those time her thoughts kept reflecting in his mind to the extent that he decided to ask for her whereabout. and he was told she travelled out of the community.
Now Linner was having in mind to come and try another method.
But when she returned from the wedding, that same day she receive a message that her aunty had put to birth to a baby boy. Immediately her mother call to her and said you know your aunty will be looking up to seeing you so u can help her, so I want you to prepare tomorrow u will be traveling to her place. though she wasn't happy about it but she had no choice.
she stay with her aunty almost a year.
Armstrong had waited long enough for her coming back
And because time was not by his side, as such he decided to forget about her and become engaged to another lady.
While she was away, she had also planned that once she returned, she was going to break that York that has not been allowing a young lady to tell a man that shes in love with him.
Now it was Amstrongs weeding day and Linner had just returned to the village last night.
From afar, she could hear music and sound of excitement. then she decided to go and see what was happening.
Unfortunately it was Amstrong setting along side his bride.
She was so surprised and as she approach his place, suddenly she fell to the ground and fainted
This action attract the attention of people who rush to her place and she was moved away to a separate place. music was stop awaiting to her how she was.
shortly she regained herself there and then she started explaining what she had pass through sticking to the ethics of there tradition and now what it resulted to
Hearing this, everyone was sober and felt her pain.
Though she lost the man she loved, but she fought for the rest of the ladies until that believe was eradicated from their community.
At long last she was recognize to be the first woman who fought for the feelings and the interest of her fellow ladies.
At this, every young lady in that land gained every right without time wasting to express herself to any man she fell in love with and their lives became great.
