Hey everyone, while I'm mainly playing and making Splinterlands content and posts about my cyling efforts, I'm also playing DCrops, which I've started seven months ago...
DCrops is a nice somewhat idle game but it still needs a daily check whether some action is required like harvesting or planting new seeds. When the season ends and your crops are not ready yet, they become withered and don't earn you anything...

It's actually the SECOND time today I am making this post, since PeakD was offline for maintenance and I'm always using that to make my posts...

I tried out the new Ecency editor and it's actually pretty nice, but when I finished my post I couldn't find where to put the tags, so I saved the draft and clicked 'back to classic editor' and then POOF a new blank screen to make a post on.... and the draft was gone! 😡
Starting with DCrops
Back when I started I bought a starter pack containing some cards and a starter land and because of give aways @forkyishere gave I already had two more average land plots, not knowing how everything worked I bought a Beta pack but I 'only' got two rare seed cards and a pizza card in it, but I have yet to discover what's the use of dishes. 😄
So, over the months I went from this...

To this!

But what I didn't know when I started is the seed cards have a cool down, lasting the entire season meaning you can only use a seed cards once every season so this meant in the second week my land plots were mostly empty, waiting for the new season to start.
Slowly growing
Growing while growing 😄
So now, every season I try to keep my plots better filled by buying more seed cards, more harvested crops means more CROP tokens at the end of each season I can either sell for SWAP.HIVE or keep them so one day I can unlock the Lucky Wheel requiring 25k CROP tokens, at current value that's about $6.50

So far this is my inventory, a couple of days ago I bought my first LEGENDARY seed, Raspberry!
I like crops that keep producing until the end of the season, so at least one of my plots is filled to the end, tomatoes also do this and are therefore more expensive.

Same as with the Pizza, I have NO clue what to do with the Stone, I can imagine the cooking pot is needed for making dishes when we combine the crops we have with a recipe but for now, I'm only growing and selling.
I'm selling every crop with 1 or 2 stars while keeping the 3 stars because they earn me a little bit of CROP every season just for holding.
What's your strategy?
Let me know how you are playing the game so maybe I can learn a thing or two on how to improve!
I case you haven't started with DCrops but are interested because farming games are always fun, please consider using my referral link!
Thanks for stopping by!
Glad you still playing. Great to see the motivation. Sharing!
