Peter and Paul Fortress is the oldest architecture in the city of St. Petersburg. The fortress is no longer young, it was built in 1703. This place was won from the Swedes, then Peter I built the Peter and Paul Fortress on this place.
The fortress is made in the shape of an island. This island is called the Hare Island.
