Find of the little night peacock eye. Saturnia Pavonia. One of our most beautiful and largest moths. Male specimen habitat. Semi-open bush and woodland, with sloe, wild cherry and low wood. This butterfly species is the only native representative of this family in Germany. Most species of peacock moth live in the tropics. The little night peacock butterfly is not that rare, you just don't get to see it that often.
Never see it before, it's looks so great and difference from butterfly that I saw before. I have seen a great butterfly in our province but it difference in looks like. Great knowledge from Germany nature @dagobert007 👌
