One of the holy places of the Kumaon region, Nanda Devi Temple Almora has special religious significance. The history of this temple is more than 1000 years old. Built-in the Kumaoni style of architecture, this temple is dedicated to the Ishta Devi of the Chand dynasty. It has been constructed on the outer hall of the Shiva temple. The artifacts carved on the stones on the wall of this pilgrimage place attract everyone's attention. Every year in the month of September, the Nanda Devi fair is organized here and during this time a large number of tourists reach here.
