24 hours later I still need to talk about gates. I had access to a fishing hole (actually a whole lake) that had a locked barbed wire stretch gate. It was pretty brutal ground so the gateposts were braced with stacked rocks. It was a really good idea to give the stack a kick before you leaned your shoulder into the gate because of a rattlesnake that called that stack of rocks home... Nothing like a good firm buzz when you are wound into a gate to raise your pulse a bit.

Joyrides? Are you kidding me?

Connie: Kawasaki Concours 1400. Best joy ride I've owned.
Honda ST 1100. I put 130,000 miles on that joy ride.
Ducati MultiStrada. Ohhhhhhhh my.

The ultimate joy ride in my world. US191 the Coronado Highway. Formerly called US 666.

That looks like a great ride Tom, Ducati country :)

110 miles of "REMEMBER TO BREATHE" It's just an amazing road with little traffic and almost no cross traffic. Gotta watch for the cows in a couple of places :)

As a big dan, I like the Monty Python reference... That movie is just epic...

Huh... 3 joyrides... - Maybe the first plane flight... :)

  • The joy when I got my first bike... (and hit into the postbox)
  • and the ride to the hospital when my son was born.. :)

Cheers!

Oh, I watched a couple of round tables about that movie and about the Life of Brian movie... lol... How they did it, why, and how they solved the problem of a bit tricky topic...

Can you just write down the name of the movie that you have mentioned in the video (that you have watched lately)... I didn't understand it right...

Thanks for the recommendation... I have watched it yesterday and it is an awesome movie! It was interesting to see Will Farrell in a different role...

I think that @pixiepost has watched it also yesterday! :)

I did actually! 😊 And it was an amazing movie! Like Zoltan said, it was cool to see him as a different character. The movie really made you think but also was very touching.

Thanks for mentioning it so we could watch it, Russ 🧡☕

Dang I forgot the Stargate! Silly me .... love those shows and would be the first one to want to go through a Stargate to go to another world or even reality :) But I digress....

3 joyrides I recall are:

  • my latest plane flight to & from NYC - lots of fun, craziness & ended up calming the passenger next to me through a horrible turbulent take off lol
  • the one car ride as a kid with my parents, which resulted in the car spinning in 3 circles in a row on sheer ice on a highway - so fun - ahem
  • a train ride many moons ago in the middle of a beautiful autumn in NY state :)
