I would like to encourage everyone to create content on HIVE and CTP Talk
Why?
A number of reasons,
- Engagement with a very active and vibrant community that are actually interested in what you are up to
- In this time of worldwide Social Isolation – spaces such as HIVE and CTP Talk are a great place to make sure that you do not stay distanced from other people.
- You get paid for creating content
- You get paid for engaging with content
- People want to pay you by up voting your content
- You will hone your writing skills
- You will get into a regular habit of writing and expressing
- T will increase the endorphin hit so that your brain will get activated and excited each time you engage through writing
- It is a cathartic experience to put your thoughts down and share with others
- Sharing is caring
Now that just ten points as to why you should be writing content and sharing your knowledge base with others.
But what do you write about??
- First and foremost write about your passion
- Let people know what it is that triggers your excitement
- Let people know what you do each and every day to stay fit, healthy and engaged
- Tell people what your opinion is on something
- Do a review of a program, a Website an app that you have found useful
- Share ten tips on what works for you on a daily basis
- Share recipes
- Let people know what books inspire you
- Share your ideas and ask for feedback
- Write a piece of fiction
There is 10 ideas of content you could use.
No matter what you write about, make it what you are excited about and engage with the reader so that they can feels some ownership in the story you tell because they can relate to it.
To do that you just need to be you.
As mentioned before, by posting on the Blockchain you get paid for your content. A couple of hints are
When you have finished your post make sure that you use the tags on your post specific to the areas that you want it to be seen – On HIVE they are called categories.
For instance, I always us the ctp and ctptalk tag on my posts so that it appears at CTP Talk. I also use keywords that I know will get my posts seen – eg; The Prize wheel has Competition, prize, winner etc
There is also a great project called ‘This Is Awesome’ @thisisawesome that is always looking for fantastic content to up-vote, the team do a fantastic job of finding good content so make their job even harder by everyone writing content giving them more to choose from.
Another project is the 2020vision project #2020vision – this is a challenge that was initiated by #pixiepost – the concept being do something that improves your health and wellbeing everyday for 44 days, and demonstrate 4 things each day – so write a post about the 4 things that you do every day for a minimum of 44 days, include the #2020vision in the title and 2020vision tag in the category and chances are it will get extra exposure which means extra up votes.,
Anyway – All I want to say is create content, there are people who want to pay you even more for creating it, so put fingers to keyboard and start typing, we all have something to say.
