People Celebrating with Fireworks

The "Klangwoke" and the "Danube in Fire" Festival always takes place in Summer and there is always a nice Firework from the City of Linz. Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic this event was canceled this year but I can show you some older pictures i did in the last years. One year ago i couldn't image how a virus like this could impact our lives in such a strong way. So let's hope we soon find a cure (vaccacine, medication) for it and it will be less dangerous. Back in 2016 I was a little late for the fireworks and I didn't made up a nice place for the fore and background of the pictures. In the years before i had the bridge or the enlighted "Ars Electronica Center" in the background of the picture, but back in 2016 i stepped right into the mob and took some pictures between the celebrating people on the "Danube Beach" in Linz.

I still know that a friend of mine was allowed to take some pictures from the roof of a building nearby and i was a bit jealous about his perfect spot to overlook the whole cite and have the oportonity to take some pictures from above, but when i think of it today, i really love my results much more than his. I already have a lot of pictures from the "Pöstlingberg" or the "Schlossberg" in Linz where i also was above the level of the fireworks and they are different. On my pictures from this day you are directly between the crowd of people and get much more feeling of the Party that was going on there.
