I have some big projects in the works, but none ready for posting just yet, so here's a filler post of sorts with photos of weeds and wildflowers taken over the past week or so.
I am not very happy with this old cell phone camera anymore. It seems like the plastic cover over the lens is getting foggy, and crisp detail is becoming impossible to achieve. I think I need to find a decent used standalone camera. Any suggestions?
Tonight I am trying to see comet Neowise. unfortunately, the map.indicates the comet is below the trees here. I can see Ursa Major, but the silhouette of treetops blocks the area where the comet should be. I may stay awake long enough for everything to rotate to a more advantageous angle. I think clear skies are in the forecast for coming days, but I'd rather not gamble on meteorology. I did see a nice meteor already.
Is it Jasmine?
I don't think so. Jasmine isn't native here, and I doubt it has been naturalized.
