Y ésta, se consumaba mediante la intervención de una doncella, teóricamente -al menos, de cara a la galería, como ocurre siempre- dulce y pura, a cuyos encantos el pobre animal no se podía resistir y, por lo tanto, se dejaba mansamente acariciar, olvidando todas las precauciones, momento que aprovechaba el cazador para ejecutar su siniestro plan. El mito, en el fondo, nos advierte de una gran verdad: el exceso de confianza, termina pagándose caro.
