it has been a fairly cool but very windy summer. though it makes for good sailing, the sea has been very rough. i took this photo a few kilometers to the west of the town we live in. the lighthouse in the distance is svenner fyr which is about 5 km out to sea. there is a great little harbor there which is a very popular stopover for sailors following the coast. it is even possible to book sleeping accommodations in the buildings which once housed the caretakers.
