What do you think about Indian government's plan over cryptos?

Indian Government is mulling over to put strict regulations on trading of cryptos. According to some unknown sources, government may allow certain cryptos which are registered and allowed. Possession and trading of others may attract penalty.
However, it also means government cannot put complete ban on cryptos. What do you think about it? Is it positive sign or not?

I think it will negative effect the economy in long term but in short term we might see positive impact.
