Sean Strickland is fighting
Alex Pereira in the middleweight division for a number one contender spot against Israel Adesanya.

Sean is an all around crazy guy.Alex is the only one in Adesanya's weight class that manged to beat him under a different rule set.

What's happening here is that the UFC is trying to spin the story of a guy who was able to beat Israel, while avoiding the risk of having a lose cannon as champion.
