I voted for no even though I'm not a Trump supporter or fan of Trump at all. The unfortunate truth is that every president in living memory has been a war criminal according to the standards used at Nuremberg. Bush launched an illegal invasion that killed a million people, set up a global network of torture camps and illegally spied on every US citizen. Obama refused to prosecute the torturers (itself a war crimes), murdered tens of thousands of people with drone strikes, asserted and exercised the right to extra-judicially assassinate US citizens and massively expanded Bush's illegal domestic spy network. While Trump has committed similar war crimes, his crimes are certainly no worse than the crimes of Obama, Bush, Clinton or any of the previous presidents (despite media hysterics and ridiculous CIA conspiracies about Russia). In my opinion prosecuting Trump while leaving these other bloodthirsty war criminals free to roam the streets would be too hypocritical and absurd even for the US government.
