I believe way in the beginning of the game some whales that own a lot of cards were literally getting a random prize daily. Check those top 10 players and see that they literally have 100s of fan booster 5. I bought some from them so know it’s real. Now more players joined so distribution of the random prize is better. The best I earned was a fan booster 1.

Yes, I Have Won Random Prizes.
The issue was that there was only a very tiny player base at the beginning. That allowed them to win lot of the prizes early on and with each win their stack became even stronger. A large influx of players can fix many of the issues with reward distribution.
