Hello friends, it's @sampraise77 here, and I'm excited to be part of Hive Music Festival Week 163, Round 1, I'm doing a cover of To Know You by Dunsin Oyekan.

This song isn't just catchy; it’s like a heartfelt cry, a search for a deeper with God. It says that knowing God is the best thing about being a Christian. Dunsin Oyekan's lyrics are simple but deep, showing a heart that wants God more than anything else not blessings, not ministry, and not the things the world says matter.

The main idea of the song is getting close to God. When Dunsin sings about knowing God, he's not just talking about facts or religious info. He means really knowing Him—like when you walk with God, listen to Him, love Him, do what He says, and let Him change your life. It’s like what Apostle Paul said in Philippians 3:10: That I may know Him… Paul had seen a lot, but he still just wanted to know God personally.

The song puts relationship with God over just going through religious routines. Lots of people know about God, but they don't really know Him. Dunsin Oyekan’s song points us back to spending personal time with God praying, worshiping, reading the Bible, and choosing to obey. During worship, he asks us to set aside distractions and focus on Jesus. Knowing God means giving yourself to Him, and the song shows that attitude.

Also, the song is about wanting to change. When you know God, you become more like Him. The more you spend time with God, the more you show His character His goodness, caring, power, and purity. It also suggests wanting to line up with what God wants. The song’s point is that nothing else satisfies like being with God. Everything else seems less important compared to the joy of knowing God.

In the end, To Know You is an invitation to want God more. It makes you want to look for God seriously and with passion. Worship becomes more than just singing; it’s like going into God’s heart. With its simple words and spiritual depth, the song encourages us to chase after God with realness, humility, and a never-ending desire. It reminds us that the most important thing in life isn’t being successful or famous it's knowing Him.
