#FOODISFREE - WHO'S WITH ME? (+ TURMERIC MANGO OVERNIGHT OATS)

Free mangos for everyone!!! Inspired by the Food is Free project - a worldwide movement of people growing and sharing food freely - and tons of mango trees in our garden, we just went on a mango picking frenzy to provide some free food for everyone during these strange times.

After donating quite a bit to the seven cows - they adore mangoes - that share this beautiful piece of land with us, this is what we are left with to share with friends, family, customers, and random strangers.

While most of you are probably locked up or self-isolating, our bakery is still open, proving food to the people and stranded tourists... Tomorrow it’s gonna be free mangoes for every customer and random strangers that pass by.

How I wished you all lived in my neighborhood so I could pass by with some of those yummy, organic sweet treats.

We are about a month into mango season and I am still loving them. I already ate so many and used them in different ways… today I bring for you mango turmeric overnights oast… one of my favorite on-the-go breakfasts.

That looks delicious. I have never thought to add so many different ingredients to my oats. I will be trying this for sure.

Absolute heavenly, this looks amazing and sooo healthy @amy-goodrich, I just love mangoes but would never have thought of adding it to oats!
What a lovely idea giving the surplus mangoes away.

Oh my goodness if only we could trade mangoes for fresh berries! I think that would be an equally beneficial swap, haha. Strawberries are just starting here, and the blackberries and blueberries are just a few months behind. Though I am excited for my sister's fig tree, as well, as she just moved into a new house and found she has one in the backyard. Fingers crossed she'll get more than enough to share!

Great posts. For sure food is not free where I live and mangoes are rare and expensive. 💕

What a feast for the eyes and the tummy! Can you please send case of mango to Canada Amy? 🌴🥭🌴
